Hacking Donkey Kong Country Black Screens

My Wii is 4.3U, IOS 80. I'm running up to date cIOS, ie: IOS 249 is rev 20, Waninkoko. I have the latest USB Loader GX and CFG USB Loader.
Donkey Kong causes USB Loader GX to black screen when initially launched and CFG USB Loader to be stuck at "Loading...." Does anyone have any ideas? My iso has been confirmed working by many, and haven't heard of any other problems from it. Thanks!

Some people including me have problems using waninkoko's IOSs. I also get "stuck" at the loading. I use hermes v4 (ios 38 merged with 37) for most of my games including Donkey Kong Country Returns using CFG.

Is hermes IOS 222/223? If so I think I've also tried this as well. Appreciate it though!

...It's my name too haha. Yea hermes is generally installed to 222, 223, and/or 224. Not all versions work for different games. If you are familiar with wad managers, try looking up stuff about Wanin and Hermes cIOS.

So I magically stumbled on a nice website. I downloaded files to match the ones in your sig and installed them, and unfortunately same results as before. I'm going to try downloading another iso. It was confirmed working by many people, yet I got a cyclic error earlier today unzipping a different file, and I wonder if somehow the game is corrupt. Thanks for all the help bud. If anyone has any different ideas let me know!
