black ops still stuck on loading screen for me

theres a bunch of text every startup. is theres a way to remove that or can i redownload a previous version of CFG?

As I said, this is for people who have problems with v61 series other than black ops.
For normal use just use v60.

* print more debug info, debug enabled by default
* if home=screenshot then make a screenshot if home is being held for 1 second
otherwise exit to hbc. So a short press on home will exit while holding home
for 1 second will make a screenshot
* possible fix for corrupted console text

cfg v61t2 (test)
* init usb immediately after ios reload

cfg v61t1 (test)
* libfat and libntfs build with devkit 17 and -Os


NOTE: This still doesn't fix any COD issues. Since it is still built with devkit 22 and ogc 185

You've already been linked to the Configurable Options page, but the option you want is return_to_channel= where is the 4-character ID of a forwarder channel, like UCXF for the forwarder in the first post. Add the line to config.txt by editing or using the Configurator.

You've already been linked to the Configurable options page, but the option you want is video=ntsc. Add the line to config.txt by editing or using the Configurator.

v6.0 worked fine for me, except Black Ops lagged like mad. cIOS 224 (the version needed) wouldn't run Black Ops in CFG v6.0, so I switched over today to v6.1t3, and Black Ops now runs like butter online. Look forward to losing the text and prompts at CFG start-up, but I can happily live with it for the time being if it allows me to play Black Ops online lag-free.

oggzee, can you include the old coloured switch logo as one of the intro options ? I like that one the best, but it got removed

Either that, or tell me which file those options are stored in, so i can edit it and compile my own version.

I've tried to install Pokémon Battle Revolution on my HDD, but it fails. The game boots up but after the little warning screen for the controller... it stays on a black screen.


I know the ISO image is not a bad rip. The game launches correctly when launched by disc through NeoGamma.

Anyone know why the game just hangs at a black screen after the warning screens?

.mod files are working correctly again, and my USB MP3 player (which I store .wbfs files on) is finally working with USB Loader! Previously it would crash if it was connected at boot, I would have to make sure it was disconnected, change from SD to USB, wait for the countdown to appear and then plug the USB cable in. In this version it just works. Thanks a lot!

Ok, let's try to figure out which ogc version breaks COD:BO
Here are 7 different dol binaries based on 61b3 built with different devkit and ogc versions.
If anyone has time, please try them all and let me know which ones work properly with CODBO and which don't.
171 is expected to work and 185 is expected to not work, but try those too for confirmation.

I can confirm this, it doesn't work with libogc 1.8.4 and 1.8.5. All previous releases are working fine.

I doubt it's the drive too, since v60 works.
btw did you get a chance to try out 61t4 which I posted before?
although I'm starting to suspect the problem might be in the raw fs detection for your sd card.
because this looks like a weird partition table for your sd card:

This change was:
19-10-2010 cfg v61a (alpha)
* Improved partition check for raw fs (v60t1 fix)

I will revert that change and make another test version.
It might start working for you but then it will break again stuff for other guys.
Hmm I don't see a good solution for this.
