Hey, sorry to bump this thread.
As you can see, i was the last one to post here, and had quite a few problems.
Well, i fixed most of it.
I have working button A for Menu, "UP" for WiiMC, "1" for WiiExplorer and "2" for CfgUSB Loader.
The only one not working now is "B" for the HomeBrew Channel.
From what i understand the newest HBC's title id is not JODI anymore.
With AnyTitleDeleter the only thing that shows up where the four character title id is supposed to be is this: (....)
I tried writting the numbers that show on the left of the four characters, and i tried even using the dots (i was desperate, ok?)
My question is, being that the new HBC has a screwy title id, is there any hope to get this working with Crazy Intro Video?
Or is my only option to downgrade to an older HBC, where JODI is still the title id?
Or does the new HBC actually have a four character title id, but it just doesn't show in AnyTitleDeleter? And if so, does anyone know what it is?
Thanks!

Take a look at this post: http://gbatemp.net/t251805-crazyintro-suge...t&p=3091226

Thanks XFLAK for more great work. My kids would love me to use this program but I would like to ask one thing first......what kind of risk do I have on bricking, or is this very safe. By the looks of it, priiloader kicks in the program to play the avi file and then sends it back to the system menu "basically" .......but Im sort of a noob with priiloader, I only installed it but never actually changed anything but the stop updates hack.
Both my wii's are up to date and on 4.2. Im only planning to play an intro and kick back to the system menu. Thanks again for the guide, I asked about a month ago for someone to write one.

@freddyhooge, that link u posted to was for crazy intro, not crazy intro video... so that's not really relevant.

@afnuke, u asked for a guide a month ago? This thread has been around for over a year!
biggrin.gif
But to answer your Q, u have zero risk of bricking. Priiloader is loaded before priiloader's installed file (in this case: crazy intro video)... so even if u somehow accidentally install a bad dol file, u will still be able to access priiloader and change the autoboot settings or install a new dol file. What rev of priiloader do u have installed? I recommend v0.4.

Is there any chance of making this work on an SDHC card yet?, or has that been fixed? I tried to get this working on my Wii awhile ago, but didn't have any luck. My card was an SDHC card and that is part of the reason why I couldn't get it to work. I think that I tried on a regular card too, but still had no luck at that point. I would like to get this working, but really need it to work on an SDHC card. That is what is always in my Wii. Thanks.

I use an SDHC card and have no problems with it.
My card is an 8 Gb PNY Optima.

@ freddyhooge Thanks, but XFlak has already solved my problem, with an added bonus of giving me a Dark HBC forwarder, so i am good for now.

ETA:
I checked that link anyways, and i just wanted to add that replacing JODI with the new title id does not work in Crazy Intro Video.
I had tried that exactly like it shows in that link, but to no avail.

Thanks XFLAK Updated priiloader and it all worked fine.....the kids loved it. Time to work on some of my own now. I couldnt get Virtual Dub to work right. I use Xilisoft with CUDA and Windows media encoder 9 a lot though. Can you tell me all the requirements (Specs) for the encoded files that the program accepts.

Ok, so I need some help here with this thing. I still cannot get it to work on my Wii for some reason. I have installed the .dol file in Priiiloader, set up Priiloader to load the installed file and to return to the system menu, I have added the folder to the root of my SD card (SDHC), put two videos in the videos folder, and edited the videos .xml with notepad, and here is what it is ( I think this is the problem somehow):

I used the two videos that are at the beginning of this post to try to get this working. I thought that I was supposed to edit the .xml to match the names of the videos so that is what I did. Is this my mistake? I used notepad to make the edit, is that the problem? I did nothing with the videos either, just downloaded them and put them in the folder. I notice they don't carry the .avi extension as they are when you hold the mouse cursor over them. It just says Video Clip. I have tried several times at this as you can see if you look back a couple pages in this post, but for some reason my dumbass can't get it to work. If someone would please hold my hand and give me some help, I would really appreciate it. Thanks!!

I think i read somewhere that you must rename the videos "video1" "video2" etc.
Not sure if that is true but won't hurt to give it a try.
Also, using the priiloader hack "replace Health Warning with BackMenu" had some functionality with CIVideo.
Try that one too.

I got this thing to work yesterday and it doesnt matter what you name the files as long as the the xml file has the exact name as the video. I changed the video file names to a.avi and b.avi and edit the xml file to match a.avi;b.avi and so on and it worked. I edit mine with notepad and that worked fine also. The problem I had was I downloaded the videos the first time with Internet Download Manager off of youtube and they wouldnt play(but played fine on my computer) I used the mediafire links and they worked fine though. Unfortunately the virtual dub program does not work for me under windows 7.....theres some sort of compatibility problem. Maybe he will respond to my earlier post and let me know all the requirements for the video and I will try a different encoder.

Well, that's the weird thing is that I had the videos and xml matching. I used the mediafire links also. So, I'm just not sure. I"ll give it a try here again in a little while.

@X-Flack.. Thanks that must have been the problem..., however, the weird part is after I took the 1gb card out once it worked, and I put my regular SDHC card back in, it now works with it too!??? Dunno what the hell was the problem that it had to have it work for the first time with a regular SD card, but whatever. Now I can finally get the videos on there that I have been wanting to do. Thanks again!!!

looks like this topic is no longer but what the heck. I too can't seem to make my own vids work. followed both ways to do this (to the t) and the Pazera version worked but no sound. I had it set up the way he did but if I try to change it I get errors. So basicly back to square 1 here. I've been at this for almost 5 hours. Yes, dl'ed this from here and it's an .avi followed everything in the guide ( a mill times)
I install the .dol file in Ploader then go to load and it just says "loading..." forever until it bumps me back to wii menu. I've played all the other vids off here and they work just fine.
I like the video ( I edited one from here and slaped on my own music and turned it into an avi) and really, i'm ready to give up. I'd like some help about this even if someone can make it for me would be cool.

one reason that makes a lot of videos not work is compressing them too much, when shrinking them the autogk make the custom size really large, then it will only compress it as much as it can without losing any real quality, it may be larger than normal, but more likely to work

sorry for the quick response

edit: I meant short response, lol

So what do you use typically? I mean, what sise do you compress it to? I tried without compressing it but no go. It's really short and small to begin with (712kb).

oh, and thanks for the slow response! Just kiddin
