92% homebrews support!
Now the HEN supports 92% of the homebrews. With the NID Translator (30% done, veeery boring), I can run homebrews with prx, like: PSPDisp, CSPSP Online, FUSA, LightMp3, PMPPlayer, Go!Tube PRXDecrypter, Psardumper and etc.
Some VLF homebrews crashes, I'll resolve this problem;)

I'll release the HEN before Christmas on PSPGEN.COM, and you can follow all updates there!

P.S. PSPGo isn't arrived yet, it has been delayed

just out of curiosity, compared to using hbl, is there any kind of improvement as far as performance, speed or stability goes, if one uses HEN or CFW?

Stability and compatibility should be theoretically higher. Speed in a sense is higher, because you launch direct from XMB, rather than having to go through HBL each time. Actual in homebrew performance should be no different. Its highly possible too that there will be a CFW enabler, as there were several for 5.03, which would allow plugins etc.

And of course you have kernel mode homebrew, which you can't run with HBL.

QUOTETN Hen on a PSP Go

November 1, 2010 in TN Hen | 56 comments

Total_Noob was hard at work over the weekend and showcased a video of his Hen running on a PSPGo:

Additionally, he told me that the Hen is now compatible with all PSP models (I mean, this single EBOOT works on all models, there is no need for 3 different versions of the Hen, which was not the case of the Beta I received, dedicated to PSP3000).

Edit: I wanted to add that Total_Noob has some kind of agreement with the site pspgen.com, and does not allow me to post any information before them. Total_Noob has kindly shared lots of information with me on his progress, most of it is not critical information and I’d like to share it, but I don’t know what is “pspgen exclusive content” or not, so I can’t post it for now.

So, well, if you want to get the news a few hours before everyone, seems you’ll have to learn French and read pspgen’s “exclusive” articles.

It’s crazy what a site can do to a developer just by sending them a pspgo. For information, psp-hacks.com sent us 2 pspgo when we were working on HBL, but didn’t ask to sell our souls in exchange.

6.31 TN-A (HEN) porting to....?
I'll release HEN for 6.20, when Sony releases a new firmware (but I don't think so, because they don't care about the PSP anymore), I'll port it to 6.31 (idea by Flyer).

I am thinking about porting my HEN to 6.31. For that I need an exploit, myself, I found a VSH exploit, but wololo thinks: "This is a waste, better port it to Everybody's Golf and such golf games".

Advantage of VSH exploit:
- You don't need to buy any game
- It's faster to load than starting a game

Disadvantage of VSH exploit:
- One more exploit lost

Advantage of golf exploit:
- Sony already know this exploit, so it's not a waste

Disadvantage of golf exploit:
- Sony can patch/remove the game easily

So, if I port my HEN to the golf exploit, Sony will patch/remove the game and then I have to release my VSH Exploit. Other hackers, do you have an other idea?

This may be a stupid question but: how is that PSP Go being controlled when it is shut? Is there some sort of wireless controller available for the PSP Go?

Yes it's called the Dualshock 3.

PSP Go adds bluetooth and PS3 controlers (sixaxis/ds3) are compatible, still a shame that Sony didn't expanded remote play to EVERY games for the PSP Go...

Changelog 7/11/10
Some people don't use their brain, they don't understand that I'll release the HEN as promised, I just thought about porting to 6.31, when Sony releases a new firmware. But some people are so stupid and called me liar. Perhaps it's because my English is very poor - I cannot express very well.
Well...forget it;)

Today I just added some extra features to the HEN, fixed VLF issue and resolved all important NIDs

YES GAMEBOOT SKIPPING WITHOUT PLUGIN! YESYESYES.

Also does anybody think the network update will actually be used this time?

I hope so, but tbh, I doubt it. There will probably be a CFW enabler within a few weeks, and I dunno what TN's stance on that is, but if he is against ISO loading, that will quite possibly stop him developing this.

I would really like to see this get plugin support, although it actually doesn't really matter to me as I'm on 6.31 (cause I don't care much about homebrew on the PSP)

Yes. It will be used to stop retards using the OFW Network Update.

No, of course the Network Update won't be used. This is a Homebrew Enabler, not a firmware.....no flashing involved. There may be a Update Blocker when it's enabled but that'd be about it.

Also what's the big deal about Gameboots? I like them!
