I have all of these .dtc files in my root of my micro sd what are they and how do I stop them from reappearing again?

I think they are configuration files for your game settings, like cheats on, which save slot to use, etc.

i too was wondering what they were for. That makes sense. they are only ever created if you play a game, just like a sav file.

They are created in the same folder as your ROMs, just put them in a folder and label it NDS games or something to keep the root less cluttered
