Just wondering if I have a bad rip of GH6: Warriors of Rock (PAL version). When I convert it to WBFS format and place it in \wbfs, USBLoader GX shows the size as 0.00gb which seems to mean it's corrupt. I've tried several different WBFS managers and all end up the same.

The file I have has the following md5sum:
Code:
02c13b2a7614be061e6e2e5fa52205a4 *ws_gh6wor_pal_m5.iso

If anyone else has the same file, can you check the md5sum of it and post it in this thread?

try "wit verify" (wiimms tools) to check the internal hash values.

Thanks for the tip, never knew about the verify function until now.

I tried it and here's the result:

CODE*****ÂÂwit: Wiimms ISO Tool v1.17a r1834 cygwin - Dirk Clemens - 2010-10-05ÂÂ*****
+OKÂÂÂÂ .0ÂÂUPDATEÂÂSXIP52 /ws_gh6wor_pal_m5.iso
+OKÂÂÂÂ .1ÂÂDATAÂÂÂÂSXIP52 /ws_gh6wor_pal_m5.iso

So it seems WIT is verifying the ISO as good based on the internal hash values, yet I still can't get it to copy over to WBFS properly. I tried with WIT as well as Wii Game Manager and Wii Backup Manager to transfer the game, all end up with the file size as 0.00gb when loaded in USBLoader GX.

What is the correct command to convert an ISO to WBFS (game data only)? I tried 'wit -P copy file.iso file.wbfs' and as mentioned it seemed to have the same problem as the others.

raulpica: Thank you for keeping this thread on track. Much appreciated.

i used WBFS intelligent gui to do it. Whenever i opened the game in it, it only came up as .00gb, but when i transferred it to the hdd it showed up as the correct size and played fine. Regionfrii also didnt recognize the game for me when i tried to change the region to ntsc.

You can also test the WBFS file
Code:
# check wbfs
wwt -p /path/to/wbfs check

# dump data structure to screen
wwt -p /path/to/wbfs dump

# dump data structure to screen with disc info
wwt -p /path/to/wbfs dump --long

# dump data structure to file with disc info
wwt -p /path/to/wbfs dump --long >file.txt

# verify whole wbfs
wwt -p /path/to/wbfs verify

# verify one disc of wbfs
wwt -p /path/to/wbfs verify --include id6
# or
wit verify /path/to/wbfs/id6
replace "-p /path/to/wbfs" by "--auto" if you have exact one (USB-)WBFS drive connected to you computer.
