You dont seem to have answered one of the first questions put to you. Will any of your games work in a different loader? You can download 3 different loaders from the download section here. Also have you tried running your games using a different CIOS? (Assuming you have both Wanin & Hermes Cios installed) You can select which CIOS your games use from within the options in USB Loader GX. From all the other posts it would appear that your HBC is now upto date so I assume your only problem now is actually playing your games from your HD??

Thanks for the replies guys, I'll try a different loader later - how do I change or check my CIOS though? I'll take a look later but don't think I've even heard that term mentioned before

Are you able to run syscheck? It would be great if you could post it, if it works, a file called syscheck.csv or something like that will be created on your sd card. Post the contents here.

From your response I assume you are not sure how your CIOS was installed. How was your Wii hacked? Did you use a program that does everything for you e.g. the extremely helpful ModMii or did you do it yourself step by step? If you installed your CIOS yourself using the CIOS installer you can choose which slot the CIOS is installed to 249, 250 etc and which base IOS you use for the installation. Alternatively if you do not use Wanin's CIOS you could use Hermes CIOS which normally installs to slot 222,223. Now within the options of USB loaderGX you can select which slot the game uses to load. If you have a CIOS installed to a slot other than 249 you can try using a slot and see if the game loads. This would answer the question as to whether there is a problem with your CIOS. If the game will load using a different slot there is obviously a problem with your CIOS installed to slot 249. In which case I would suggest trying what the previous person suggested by removing the corrupted/stubbed 249 and try re-installing using the latest CIOS installer (rev20)

Many thanks for the replies guys - just downloading some different loaders now so fingers crossed. Will try and run syscheck too if I can, will post the results!

So tempted to try and sell this one and buy another pre-modded one, but figured I'd probably get into the same state again as I am now... :S

You guys are awesome! Configurable USB loader works an absolute treat, think I prefer it to GX too, maybe a little - although they're both great!

Quick question - is it possible (or easy) to get it so my Wii now either loads straight into the homebrew channel again, or so that I can have a Configurable USB loader channel? Just at the moment I have to turn on Wii -> Wii Menu -> Homebrew channel -> Configurable

Really not the end of the world though, I'm really happy right now with this anyway!

Priiloader cannot autoboot into the latest version of HBC. It should however be able to autoboot into a loader of your choice. Sorry I'm not great with priiloader but if you search here or on google there are loads of guides on how to use priiloader. Alternatively you should be able to download a wad of the cfg channel which should take you straight to the loader.
