I have an R4i-sdhc Upgrade V1.4 with the latest firmware from august on it, I have tried every patch and code fix that I have found, I even made an account just now so I can ask questions, heh. I'm not even sure if I'm doing this properly, but anyway. I have been trying to get Pokemon White to work on it and I continuously get the rom read error -=5, has anyone been able to figure out how to get it to work on the type of R4 that i have? By the way if it helps i am using a black us nds lite.

hey i have r4irts&sdhc v2.7e it the latest for my card im guess there not a patch yet 4 r4i i have tried those patchs as well

true true, however I do have two of the older R4 cards, I think one of them is like the second one they came out with and the other one is the R4i before the v1.4 version. any fixes for those?

You have to use wood firmware I believe. Go to *snip threads. There is a tutorial that will show you exactly how to do it. May or may not work though.

same here i could play the non patch but it freezes randomly and no exps gain i cant use cheat codes for rare candys yet cus it freezes at the boot up

it is because you dont have a infolib.dat/extinfo.dat/savlib.dat with pokemon b/w on it

Shows you a "Error-japanese text letter" when select "continue" in main menu?
If this happens to you, we have the same problem and this is solution:
-Tap Continue game
-Choose second option
-[New screen] Choose first option

Well....lol. I did that and doesn't immediately freeze up anymore, and so far, I've done a few battles with no problem...

That's one stupid fix, though. I wonder what the text boxes are saying now...

I hope we do not have new problems in a future

Umm, I was wondering if anyone could upload their Black Save files from their DS.
I really want to test it on No$gba.

DesMume works fine for the 1st 10 mins or so but then slowww.

I wish people leave translations, they are really hard job.
