I got the Pokemon Wood R4 thing and i only have the Game, Menu.Dat and the _rpg file in my SD card but my R4 isnt loading, any help?
No it is not. No$gba is the best, because even if 3 or 4 games don't work, all other games work at 100%, but desmume can't get any game to work at full speed and not even 50% of the games are really playable on that emu. With no$gba you can play anything at full speed with a dual core with 2gb ram or even less, but to do that in desmume you need almost a quad core with 4gb ram and a really good video card :/Bunie said:DesMuMe is the best DS Emu. So I have no idea what I'm doing wrong... I have the rom, trying to run it on my NDSi, M3 Zero, Sakura firmware and from what i gather, it's patched. Both the raw NDS file and "patched" one have the same result... You boot it up, you see the now loading screen, then just pitch black.
I don't understand the Japanese. The intro was full 100% english, but once you actually get to the menu you get Japanese katakana.....like really?
I manually hex edited my Pokemon White ROM as well and am no longer experiencing issues on either DesMuME or Wood R4.

It's nice that the daycare is so early in the game in B/W, lots of opportunities for breeding and if your starter is a bad nature it's not too late to breed it a bit if you got a female. Very nice.

Okay I set the priority of my DesMuMe to Hight, and that made it a lot faster. I still say No$GBA is better, but that is just my opinion.

So has anyone managed to figure out how to get into the dream world/high link/global link? If so, would you mind helping me out? I got an account but now I'm stuck on this 100% Flash page that I cannot translate. ;_;

For downloading its the option in the menu under New Game, then the first option, then the option with Wi-Fi in it...I think. And you pick it up at any Pokecenter/Mart. It's the guy standing by the door when you first enter.

the vram is one advantage when it comes to AI but ends up being slower even with that and really AI is the only use case that needs more than 12gb vram right now -

I think I watched a video where two games at 4K where eating just over 16GB of RAM and it's the one case where the 7900XT and XTX pulled ahead (minus RTX of course)

So my opinion is that they could age a bit better in the future, and maybe AMD will continue improving them via drivers like they tend to do. No guarantee there but they have done it in the past. Just a feeling I have.

@The Real Jdbye, I could see AMD trying to pull off the CPU GPU tandem thing, would be a way to maybe close the gap a bit with Nvidia. Plus it would kinda put Nvidia at a future disadvantage since Nvidia can't make X86/64 CPUs? Intel and AMD licensing issues... I wonder how much that has held back innovation.
