pretty cool game .im enjoying it right now.

These are all the emulation problems I have found on Visual Boy Advance (happens with both 1.7.2 and 1.8.0 beta, assumed the same with all versions)

- Adventure mode introduction doesn't show some characters, their speech bubbles appear but not those speaking.

- Game freezes on start of Treacherous Twister.

- When L and R are both hit and Donkey Kong does his hitting move he aims in a random direction.

I haven't experienced any problems at all, my VBA version is 1.6a so maybe you could try that ?

As for the game, it's fairly mediocre and doesn't have enough different things in the game for anyone to really come back to it.

I tried 1.6a (as well as 1.7 and 1.71), and it still freezes at the beginning of Treacherous Twister.

I'm using VBA CE edition and i havent had no problems at all and have past the twister level.

I am having no problems too. I think it is the rom.

I have that intro bug (characters not showing...) and I use VBA 1.7.1. I don't reach this Treacherous Twister level (only played 4% of game...) (¬_¬

I'll try to play it on NO$GBA

EDIT: It worked well, no problems, no bugs at all! Use NO$GBA to play this!

I tried it with VBA 1.8, 1.7.2 and 1.6a and it keeps crashing on the start of Treacherous Twister, anybody knows how to fix this?

It's not the rom, it's a problem with emulators and some flash carts. It works fine on my EZFA, I'm already past Treacherous Twister and at the boss of Aqua World.

Chances are it'll be patched eventually, so you can wait for that (if it does ever happen) if you want to play this. A second solution would be to wait for another country version since maybe it won't be there. A third would be to get a .sav from somebody whose beaten that level and simply don't select that level anymore.

does anybody knows how to save in this game?

im using a wisecard but it doesnt have a save menu...(the game)

and it doesnt save...

maybe is this... i had that prisioner of azkaban game...in the wisecard.
now i have dk ...but maybe the save of azkaban its still there...

i tried to patch the game with the save fix like zelda...
but the program dont let me do it... so its not that..

any ideas.

It saves automatically whenever you beat a level or get a rank in the Jungle Jam.

Why would the rom have to be patched if the emulators are at fault?

I don't know if it's a rom or emu trouble now, cause i tried with VBA 1.6 to 1.8 and No$GBA, and all freeze entering only that level :/

No$GBA says "the rom image has crashed" and VBA only freezes...

But u know, some people says it works fine with flash carts...

Maybe a special GBA feature that still it's not emulated??

Anywayz, hope someone put a save file with that level completed ^^

I didn't know that... Sorry for my earlier suggestion... As I said: I've played only 4% of this game... Hope to check this emu problem tomorrow.

EDIT: Yeah, I got the crash message from NO$GBA...

+ good game idea
+ nice graphics
+ bit of a heads up, since there have been no good games yet this year

very original controls, easy to control after a few minutes, and its works great on my EZ Flash II PS, but in VBA, i noticed some graphic problems.

very original game .fun and addictive .a must have title.

controls work great , cant see enjoying this in an emu.must play on the original hardware.

hey, here you have a save file for the game, after the treacherous twister level, just rename the file with the same name of your rom, and its ready for VBA. its in spanish, just chage the language from the options if you want.

right click and save whit ".sav" extension.
