Yesterday when I was playing through the 3rd or 4th mission instead of freezing, my psp just turned off. I'm hoping it was just a fluke

After the cutscene for the start of chapter 2, it gets to the loading screen, and after waiting a few seconds, it freezes. No matter what I try, it still freezes. I'm going to try turning off my cheats, and see if it works.

5.03 GEN-C = 5.50 GEN-D3 in terms of everything except it's not permanent CFW.

Interesting to know... Anyway, I'm going thru the process of data install and everything after patching the clean iso~

You know, I really wonder WHY so many people prefer the european versions even if the american ones have multi language sometimes...

I guess it's because the EUR version usually has the original japanese voices, which many people prefer. Most of the time, the english dubs are terrible.

When you say english dub, I'm assuming you are referring to most Japanese to English game dubs? Because the Metal Gear series has never had bad dubs.

yes, that's what I'm trying to say. Either that, or because the EUR version comes out first, and a fix comes out first, excluding the japanese version, of course.

hi, i'm having a problem with co-op, and only with that, the thing is i'm trying to play co-op with my brother who has an original copy od peace walker and a psp3000. i am using 5.00 m33-6, with a pre-patched version of peace walker and no matter who hosts the other one can't find him, so if anyone has any idea of what coud be wrong please help me, i'd really love to play co-op.

You're using a different REGION game.
Just Rip his game through your PSP, patch it with ISO tool (or update to 5.50 Prometheus) and play.

I've done everything you said and it still freezes if you alerted the guard on the second tank battle (main ops). what should i do??

Be on the latest 5.XX CFW, whichever works on your PSP. Not the 6.XX CFW.

All I did on my GEN D3 system was patch the uncompressed .ISO with ISOTool then use a PSP program called D2-D3 changer. It makes the system think it's D2 and the game worked flawlessly. I have 60 hours in the game. And changing back is as simple as running the program again.

Meanwhile, Prometheus 4 not only doesn't cause save problems like that D2-D3 changer, it also supports more games that you don't have to patch.
