BootMii Configuration Editor v2.6 has been released.

This update is available from the link below, or using the auto update functionality present within BootMii Configuration Editor v2.4 onwards. To update from a previous version simply start the editor from the homebrew channel and the new version will be detected and downloaded should you choose to update.

Changes in this release are:
  • When BootMii Switch is active, a new option has been added - switch and reboot. This allows you to switch the directories around and restart the wii immediately.
  • USB2.0 Support (via IOS58). Bootmii Config Editor can now launch from a USB drive, however it will still only edit INI files on the SD card.

thank you, updated yesterday :-) great tool pembo. much appreciated

You're welcome.
There's probably not much more to add to this unless bootmii changes now!
The only other thing that could be done is a graphical interface, but this would probably be overkill for what the app does/needs!

it could use a channel so you don't have to install HBC on sneek to use it with sneek. if you are taking suggestions.

I can Happily do that - made a forwarder channel for tetwiis - no reason why I can't do one for this!

I've got a feature request that I'm sure you could add easily (but would you want to)

Rename a nand.bin and/or move to a folder.

So that if someone backups up a nand and then later wants to make another backup they can have both on the SD card without needing to rename/move with another app.

I don't care if you add this or not myself, but though it might be suited to your app.

Good idea - I'll need to think about this a little, but makes sense to add a NAND backup manager of sorts...

as requested...

I’ve now created a forwarder and Channel for BootMii Configuration Editor. The forwarder is based on the excellent code in WiiMC by Tantric, and the channel was created using CustomizeMii.
As per WiiMC, the channel/forwarder will attempt to use IOS58 if this is present for USB2.0 compatibility

The forwarder expects to find boot.dol in the /apps/bootmii_cfg_ed/ directory on either the SD or a USB device.

I’ve tested this on my Wii running HBC 1.08, installing the channel using an appropriate WAD installer and all is good!
If you’ve any concerns about installing channels, please don’t do this unless your adequately protected with BootMii/Boot2 or Priiloader.

i'm using the channel wad in sneek and the regular access through hbc on my real wii btw, i've wanted a way to do this since i first found out about sneek.
