I'm sure you read the topic, but is there a way (be it homebrew or... well, I don't know what else) to get a GC save file from my memory card onto my PC? There has to be some app somewhere that'd do it... Right?

Any help is appreciated. I know there's ways to do it if you buy an adapter, but it's really not worth it to me. I just want 1 game save off, so buying things is out of the question.
Thank you.

I have an official.. But what are the programs?

And what is wrong with official ones? Do they corrupt them or are they just unreadable for whatever reason?

Is there a way to get the Wii to read GameCube ACTION REPLAY? If I remember correctly there was one app under utlities that allowed GCN games to be copied to the SD/PC.

It's a bug with how they work with official cards that's in libogc, the library used to, among other things, access gamecube memory cards.

Though people have been telling me recently that it is possible to get saves to/from official cards. I've never managed it though.

Assuming the official MIOS doesn't support it, the cMIOS would probably enable it. That or an older version of the MIOS than the one you have installed.

The links also have downloads on their page.

Regarding the cMIOS, a search on gbatemp should get it for you.

I have official ones too, use Gamecube Saver, it's the only that work with Nintendo's ones, but it's a little buggy, sometimes you could get your injection after 4 tries. Rename your *.gct files to AA.gct, only one save per process.

Not a gamecube game, only a gamecube savegame, and that's possible.

...does that mean like saving my Melee data to the SD card? Is that possible? That way I won't have to put my GCN memory card in every time I want to play Melee or Double Dash? Or is that not what he means? Be specific please.

No, gamecube can only access memory card and gamecube controllers. This mean you can store and reinstall your savegames if your memory card get broken.

Or if I lose them? Can I KEEP and I mean KEEP the the brawl GCT in my SD card and also save as many GCN titles as I want on this savegame? Well two titles really. Double Dash and Melee. Those games are hard core to beat.

Wait so what the heck do I do here? I downloaded the GCN saves folder and am so lost. I already have Melee and Double Dash stored on my memory card and want to copy it to my SD card. HOW do I do that? The link shows the opposite. Also the links do not show how to set up AR on the Wii (GameCube Action Replay). Please help with specifics. Thank you!

To make things clear, you still need a memory card to save GC games. Copying GC saves to an SD card is only useful for backing up saves. To back up your save, just run GCMM and back up the save.

As for your AR problem, I think you need MIOS v4 for it to work. Run Dop-Mii to downgrade your MIOS to v4.

Link me to DOP-Mii again please. i saw the second link for the SD card thing you just told me so I will try that. I can't transfer the data in any way to my friend's Wii? I always have my GameCube memory card in slot A for the Wii.

Your first question is correct. That is what I mean by backing up my data 100%. Also is there a way to transfer that data to my friend's Wii?

GAMECUBE data. I want to copy Melee and Double Dash to my SD card then transfer it to my friend's Wii. And to the SD card and PC for backup protection.
