crediar used the same method I used for the easter egg, launching MIOS directly without using BC.

cMIOS is not needed at all (only if you want to run backups without modchip). I repeat, the easter egg launches MIOS directly without using BC, so the cpu clocks are not changed (== GC mode runs at the speed of Wii mode). No USB access, no new features, no Wiimote support... it's just the GC mode running faster, JUST THAT.

Oh well, damn rumors I guess. Who was the guy again who told me the BC stuff?

Hell no, if you want to play gc games with Classic Controller, you have to edit the iso and do some coding. But you cant do that, unless you are the developer of the game and have the source code of your game.

oh well i was just hoping. Because no shops in the uk sell a GC controller or GC memory card.

I got me an new original Gamecube controller for 26€( including shipping) from asia.

They got a Wii-white controller with a longer cord in Japan when the Wii got released.
For a new black controller I would have had to pay 40€ in Germany.

It doesn't increase the speed of all games. It only increases the speed of games that base their timing on CPU cycles. So basically for the majority of games, you just have a game that has scratchy audio, no memory card access, and is unstable.

You can do this in SNEEK from the system menu if you add these two lines to the function ES_BootSystem in /es/ES.c
if( *TitleID == 0x0000000100000100LL )
*TitleID = 0x0000000100000101LL;

threw some gc games at it

Billy Hatcher - booted but froze at end of loading when trying to actually play
Zelda Master Quest ripped gcm - froze when loading bar reached end
none of the zelda discs worked
Metroid Prime - reboot
Biohazard 0 Trial - reboot
Eternal Darkness - reboot
Dragonball Z Budokai - fully playable w/ horrible audio

i tried it a few times but it locked up on me, i was using a mini dvd-r with a copy of fzero gx on it. it works fine with neogamma, but i guess you need a retail disc as it is calling the real mios? oh well, good thing it loaded the gc isos on my hard drive...

edit: i better put j/k so no one takes that out of hand

Sorry to have offended you. It must be something that is more relevant to your interests. Im fine with my current GC loading system, that seems to be more reliable from what im reading. I understand that it is something to play with and all, which is cool for people who want to play with it i guess. Im not trying to knock Wanin and his work. He has done great things for this scene, and i use those things almost every time i boot up my console, its just that this one thing isnt as useful as the other things he has made. For lack of a better term, this seems to be more or less a waste of time. Until it has a further use, it does not interest me that much.
