Recently picked up a LU72 wii off of ebay, came with no dvd drive.

I have tried 3 different drives in it. DMS, D3-2, D4.
But when i try to play NSMB from original disc, i get a error has occured please eject disc, etc.
But NSMB will play fine through USBLoader GX.

When i try to load up original disc of Lego Indiana Jones, it loads, but when gameplay starts, the wiimote either does nothing, or freezes when i try to access the options menu by pressing +

Have checked ios files, they check out ok.

IOS33 and IOS53 are the latest versions.

Anyone have any idea why?

TIA

I would say check two things:

hold reset to see if preloader/priiloader is installed, as these problems could potentially happen from an improper IOS being chosen as the system menu IOS...also...if that doesnt work I would advise you to tell us...what menu are you on? I know you said 4.2 IOS, but what menu are you running?

the bluetooth modules was my last idea, but if you tried that already, it might be some kind of low-level problem...feel fortunate the system at least works with usb-loading I guess.

yes priiloader is installled.

and no if it was a system menu ios file that was corrupted, the wii would be bricked as it requires the system menu ios file to run.

4.2U is the system menu, using ios70

not "corrupted"...just not able to handle the full functions of a system menu IOS, but yes, 70 should be fine...so, no clue...
