Alright so here's the deal. I have DSOnei running on EOS. Anyway I'm playing SoulSilver fine and all but there's one problem. There's no .sav file on the root of my SD card yet when I load the ROM well it loads where I last saved. There is a .dso file but I doubt that's the save since it's only 1 KB in size. Anyone mind enlightening me where the .sav might have gone?

The samething happens when I play DQIX. The game loads fine, but there's no .sav file to be seen, only a 1kb .dtc file (which is a plain text file for rom settings).

I was thinking that it might be SD corruption but since it has happened to both of us I doubt it is. It sucks because I want to put my save on my acekard as well...

I'm not sure...I've seen people talk about this but I've never seen it happen myself. Have you tried scanning the SD card for errors just to be sure? The save is supposed to be in the same directory as the game.

My save file shows up just fine, so I have no idea why yours won't... The only thing I find disturbing is the fact that the DSTWO's EOS keeps saying the last saved date of nearly all of my save files is 00:00 1980/00/00, but I've seen that on multiple other OS's, so I won't worry about it.

Still though, your problem is incredibly weird. Have you perhaps tried performing a search through your entire microSD card's content to find out if it is maybe moved to another folder accidentally and the DSTWO can still read it?

Or, it could just be like 9th_Sage already said, that you're looking in the wrong folder (I've heard of other flashcards putting save files on the root of the card, so you're possibly looking there where no saves are to be found).
