It can be hacked day one and still never be a practical way of running ROMs so one thing doesn't mean the other.

That post and others after, basically you appear to be a video gaming mix of ocd and adhd using any excuse under the sun to try and qualify why you're a filching thieving twat who gets all crybaby when he can't steal shit you should be paying for (at least in some cases.) I can't stand people who go 100% in or 100% out with stuff like this, just criminally assholish to the end. If someone loves the hardware enough, buy a few games to show some appreciation, or you end up with a situation kind of where the PSP has fallen into where people won't make games because more copies are jacked than bought.berlinka said:For me it's as simple as this:
I have a GBA, DS Lite and a Wii so: I can play every game for Gameboy, GBA, DS, Wii, Wiiware, Gamecube, Nintendo 64, Neo Geo, and via emulators also NES, Super Nintendo, Megadrive, PC Engine + many many more.
So when the 3DS comes out and appears to be unhackable, I simply WON'T buy one. I have to many games I haven't played or finished as it is. Why the heck do I want to buy games all of a sudden just because it has better graphics and 3D???? IT doesn't change the fact that there's still a shitload of magnificant games out there that I even haven't touched yet.
Off course this is the result of only wanting to play for free. You could see it as a curse, but I see it as a way to focus on what I already have, which is awesome!
So if they manage to hack the 3DS in order to play free games on it, I will IMMEDIATELY buy one. If that's not the case, I'm out, but still happy with what I've got.

Yeah, the hackers don't make money off of you buying a 3DS.stanleyopar2000 said:notice Nintendo hasn't released any more updates that actually ADD FEATURES.
like more camera options and shit....
shows what the real purpose was for firmware updates........So you're judging the entirety of firmware updates (13 total) based on the last 2?
Lrn2history, plz.

All I know is with the 3DS since Nintendo is in total la-la land with the console end of things, I'd love to see this sucker stay locked down hard for the foreseeable future much like DSiware has been among other little things.
It probably a lot of good game for ds and wii , you are just using a made up excuse of 95% shovelware , to say every game should be pirated and to say they should make it easier for hackers and piracy.godreborn said:nintendo just needs to give up on beating piracy...it'll never happen. maybe, instead of wasting money creating new anti-piracy measures, they should invest in third-party support. I thought, at least, with the ds and especially the wii, that there would be a lot of support due to their popularity. however, my ds and wii collect dust for months at a time as I wait for another decent release. whatever happened to nintendo's seal of approval for games on their systems??? it's 95% shovelware these days!
