Hacking Sick of my Acekard

The freezing in Heart Gold is due to it's copy protection as well as the new IR hardware for use with communicating with the Pokéwalker accessory that comes with the actual game. You have to make sure that you are using the latest AKAIO firmware (currently 1.7 if I'm not mistaken) on your Acekard 2i for it to work without freezing. When I got my Acekard I heard AKAIO was better then the official firmware so I have been using that and not the official one. Seriously there is no reason to gripe about a flash card just because some popular game doesn't seem to be working. They are trying all kinds of new copy protection schemes to prevent them from working on flash cards. Just look at Mega Man Zero Collection after all, it has major graphics problems with AKAIO 1.7 for some reason but my Super Card DSTWO with it's latest firmware that is suppose to bypass all copy protections runs it just fine. At this point there is nothing a future firmware update can't fix (which I why it pisses me off then scene groups released cracked roms and even more so when they put intros on them).

I honestly don't think you should rant and throw a tantrum in this section, yet the blog section instead.

If you don't want to do what others suggest, which I assume is what you wanted, suggestions since you posted it in this section, then that's your consequence, not ours.

Don't make a topic if you don't want help. Everyone has a different experience with their Acekard or game, most work and a few don't, that's just the way flash carts and SD cards work.

Are you positive it's not the ROM?
Try a different one.

^This is so true...

Pokemon SS/HG had a lot of patch versions since last saw. But even myself I own a Acekard 2i w/ AKAIO 1.7 works fine but sound music does mess up from time to time. Instead of continuing the battle music it comes with the fanfare as the battle continues. As for Megaman zero I'm pissed at the fact of anti piracy protection. I have a friend working on getting me Supercard DSTWO for my DSi because of bypass and other features.

im just posting a problem that a normal user using a normal acekard2i with normal dump running on a normal akaio 1.7 is having a problem

if posting a problem is wrong in this forum, just tell me because im just posting a problem that someone might have in the future and might refer to this thread for solutions

I don't think people are complaining about you making a rant they're complaining about me. I made the original post/rant, which I did apologise for doing They're suggesting that because I wasn't asking a question or asking for help this was the wrong place for starting this topic.
This post has properly got a bit mixed up now with either people trying to help me or you, the mods should just lock it I think.

I apologize for my previous rant/rage (what a hypocrite right?). Something in reality aggravated me, and I turned to GBATemp to find something to calm me down and ended up causing a chain reaction of anger taken out on this thread.

I agree with the OP, the Acekard build is not the best. I hope our proposed solutions can help you.
