I use preloader with the .dol in the root of the memory card. I installed the .dol with preloader. Also, the only bad thing is that if you do make GX your startup prog, when you ever need to "return to system menu", you'll end up back at GX loader instead of the Wii Menu, which can be a royal pain.

just FYI.

Myself use priiloader, and a autoboot Neogamma Channel Dol installed which autoboots Neogamma on start, I had the same problem about when i try to exit neoamma it would just reload itself. which was a pain, but i noticed if I use the rebooter option with no hooks within neogamma, it will boot the system menu instead of booting back into neogamma. but GX probably doesn't have a rebooter function does it?

You can change that setting in preloader. If you set return to system menu to system menu instead of installed file it should go back to the regular menu.
