It's been exactly a month (inclusive of weekends) since I've ordered and I still have not received the package - it's making me anxious because I am afraid the package got lost in the mail. I emailed the retailer 0shippingzone and they told me that there's been delays with China Post but since I didn't get tracking, they couldn't pinpoint the exact location. Is it really the case that China Post has been operating slower than "usual"? Should I just continue waiting or do something about it - if the latter, what should I do? It's my first time ordering something of this nature :S

I will be going to my local post office some time this week (perhaps tomorrow) to see if I can check if the package has arrived in Australia and is on its way to my place - if it has, I can guess that Australia Post have been sitting on it or the postal workers are doing some shifty stuff

I will post again if I receive any new info.

Dont worry, it a month and a half to get mine. It was delayed so much due to my country customs, I guess something similar happened to yours.

Well, they mark it as 'Gift' in order to try to bypass customs. But I don't know how Australia customs work, because I'm in Canada.

I am so sad. I went to the post office today and apparently, there's no incoming delivery for me! Assuming the package really got shipped out on the 3rd of May, it's been 27 days (excluding weekends) and that's so long that it's making me want to cry because I can't help but feel duped. I think if I don't get it in the next 3 days, I'm going to take drastic measures.

Edit: OMG! I hope it didn't get taken by customs! I had a quick glance at what was forbidden to be imported into Australia and I didn't see flash cards...It would also be weird because there are people selling flash cards at leased premises but at jacked up prices :S

1. Maybe it arrives 45 days after they sent it, which probably was delayed because of the China Post problems.
2. Wait patiently.
3. This is why you get tracking.

I hope you're right about the package eventually arriving. However, while I have successfully imported stuff from China before with free shipping and no tracking, this is the first time it's taken this long and it seems like Chinese postal services tend to have problems most of the time. That's why I am particularly nervous.

I agree that I should have got tracking though. I got stingy because of the ailing exchange rates and Paypal likes to convert AUD to USD using a less favourable exchange rate.

Has anyone who bought from 0shippingzone had this sort of problem? If so, how long did you have to wait?

I ordered one too. It was "sent" May 3, according to their email. Still nothing. They havn't even responded to my message. I'm giving them until tomorrow, and if don't answer, I'm gonna submit a "GIMME MYMONEY BACK" every day until they either get me what I paid for, or I get my money back. I thought this was Hong Kong's Postal service, but I'm beginning to wonder...

Why order from china? when you can order from a place here in the US. I've heard too many of these stories to ever order from china. I've ordered from the US and Canada, 3 days from the US shop and 5 days from the Canadian shop, that beat saving a few dollars and waiting for over 2 months.

I got fed up and realising today was the 45th day since I paid, I opened a dispute with Paypal.

If only Australian goods weren't so expensive. I remember seeing Acekards for over 50 AUD over here.

If so, shouldn't they have notified me by now?

It depends. If they plan on prosecuting customs may try to collect evidence surreptitiously by sending you a letter asking you for a signature for disposal of the item or something to that effect. If you do get a letter like this just don't sign it and you should be fine, by not signing it you do not personally claim it. I'm not certain of the laws in Australia regarding modchip, flash devices, & other devices.

Well, I guess all I can do is hope that my $16 didn't go down the drain. I'm too afraid to call customs now that the possibility has been raised.

Shouldn't ordered from Shoptemp or leetmod. Anyway, bring the issue up with the site you got it from, I don't know how paypal would react to a flash cart going missing since they asked dealextreme to take it off of their site. Or something like that.

Either way, try checking the tracking.

Why not order from shoptemp?
I don't think shoptemp scams people. The AK was probably sent to Hong Kong post office, after that shoptemp has done their job. It's not their fault if the package went missing, was stolen or was taken by customs during delivery. Should have bought tracking#, as this makes the package a lot harder to steal.

As for the not responding to messages, that is something GBAtemp should sort out with shoptemp. Maybe make a shoptemp thread where people can post their problems with shoptemp-orders. Then an administrator(or whatever) from GBAtemp can report the most serious issues to shoptemp and make the customsupport go faster for these orders.
It would be a good way to filter out the lesser important issues(sometimes non-existing. People tend to whine over nothing, delaying the support of REAL problems).

As for me. I ordered an AKi from shoptemp 6th of June, and had it in my hands in Norway 12th of June. I'm very pleased with shoptemp. I ordered with tracking#, though.

Edit: If it's of any interest. Just checked the package i recieved. It was labeled: Low value chips, pc card reader 2pcs. (ordered with microSD). It was not labeled gift, but the total value of the content was set to 6 usd(maybe to avoid import-taxes).
