Medarot DS due to bad animators and they could have gotten a lot more out of the DS, also they should have kept the side view robattle style.
Maybe you just suck? Apart from Bongo Bongo, most bosses are too easy. Even gamers beat the game using their feet. A fe months ago a blind guy beat the game. What's your excuse? (Probably that sorry excuse for a controller)monkat said:Well it's not a DS game (and not released this year, but first time playing it is this year), but Ocarina of Time.
Everyone said that it was so great, and was even the best rated game from it's release to....SMG2.
I got it for VC. Got to the first section with combat, and just got flattened. I've played Wind Waker, TP, and a few of the 2D games (although less comparable), and that has never happened, except in some difficult boss battles. Not fun in the least.

I kind of like it, but its feel to complex for me to get into. I mean, if a game is complex, fine, but give me the story and character to back it up. That was also my problem with Black Sigil, awesome rpg, but random encounters every 2-5 seconds? I'm sorry, it would have to be a FF7 or something for me to get into something that bug me that much.
Sounds like a great game.Delta517 said:_Chaz_ said:I play Pokemon games for the storylines...Ringo619 said:Guild McCommunist said:Ringo619 said:my game is Pokemon hg/ss was't a big story line and was kinda boring and was to easy d/p/pt was better for some reason.
There's not much elaboration you can do on the older storyline. And since when did people care about storylines in goddamn Pokemon? Pokemon storylines plain suck, no one plays Pokemon for a good story. Just saying.
Probably not this year but last year, it was COP: The Recruit. What had a ton of potential just became a horrible game riddled with tons of flaws. Looks like they spent more time making something that looked good in the screenies and info than something that actually played well. Terrible physics, terrible mechanics, repetitive missions, the list goes on.
This year though, probably Infinite Space. I had a lot of high hopes for it but it just was plain boring. It was just obsessive amounts of grinding with boring combat. That's a bad combination.
well thats your opinion but i just found the hg/ss boring simple as that and Cop recruit was kinda alright but was't looking forward for it
Same thing with Super Mario Bros. games.
Lol. So you play a game only to find out that a princess has been kidnapped, a plumber goes out to rescue her, have problems finding the real castle and when he finally gets there, he kicks a mutant turtle's ass, saving the princess and then go home?

And to most gamers, a difficult Zelda is a good Zelda. Twilight Princess and Wind Waker felt like they were always in Child-mode.

It's the controls, most likely, they were very hard for me to get used to. I feel your pain, I have one of the promo GameCube Ocarina discs.
My game that let me down big time this year isn't a DS game either, and it didn't come out this year as well. The original version came out for GBA though, and it was later remade for PS2. It's Kingdom Hearts (ReChain of Memories. I bought the game the day it came out and finally got around to playing it yesterday after just beating KH I about two days ago for the second time. The card system was nearly impossible for me to pick up (the entire meat of the gameplay) and I couldn't save as often as I wanted to, because every action in the game is through the use of cards. (Damn you Luxord, I'm sure it's your fault) I prefer smacking heartless around with unlimited keyblade hits. I ended up watching the whole game's cutscenes on Youtube, and I'm going to sell it for credit to buy Persona 3 Portable with. (PSP remake of my favorite game coming out in July!!)
It's called nostalgia, noob.d3monsting said:WarioWare DIY: Too complex for the average idiot. And you're forced to listen to the weird girl teach you how to PLAY the game! mehck!First you complain that it's too complex, and then you complain that the game tries to tell you how the game works? That's like saying school is too hard because you don't want to listen to the teacher.
Nintendo Club 'exclusive' Game & Watch 1&2: As crappy as the originals, but even worse.d3monsting said:Mostly All Them Pokemon Games: No use of the touchscreen, seems like the GBA game ported over to NDS...Are you kidding me? HG/SS has absolutely EVERYTHING on the touch screen (except character movement). It even has the Pokéathlon which is basically a bunch of touch-screen minigames. And as for 'seems like a GBA port...', well, you can't get 3D graphics on a GBA, you can't get those simple cutscenes on a GBA, you can't get Wi-fi on GBA and you can't get voice chat with GBA. Not to mention that all the Pokémon games so far are 128MB, while the GBA only goes up to 32MB.
And if you include Black and White, then: The GBA's cartridges don't have enough memory to hold a 256MB game, which is that size because of life-sized towns, over 600 animated Pokémon sprites, improved battle animations, and much improved graphics.
Maario is simple to play, and it's fun. As for the graphics, that's because Mario's only main games ared3monsting said:Mario: I've no idea why people like it. I think it's just crap. The graphics are crappy, and the whole... is just aggravating and infuriating!!!!
1. a port from the N64
2. a 2-D game
3. a simplistic racing game (with weapons).
Keep in mind that if Mario didn't exist, North America wouldn't have any video games today. Mario's the character that saved the US from the video game crash of 1983.

Well it was a remake, and for pokemon games I don't care about the storylines, but this was definitely better than D/P/PT. Those games were wayyy too easy. BTW did you ever play the original gold and silver.
