Well, the problem is... it is disabled. But for some reason, if I turn those hacks on, SMG2 works properly (it's forcing the disc to cIOS38 r17).

That REALLY REALLY strange...

Do you have both priiloader and startpatch?
If so, they may be conflicting.
If not... maybe make a NAND backup then reinstall your sysmenu, successfully nullifying both?

Well, I tried this on 2 cousin's Wiis.
One had only priiloader, it gave Error #002. It worked fine in NeoGamma. This Wii was 4.2U, updated through Wii Menu, and had cIOS 19. the only hack that was enabled was the "Disable HAXX/DVDX/RZDx checks".
The other had StartPatch for disabling updates, and a Priiloader that didn't have any hacks (forgot the hacks.ini file

). Error #002, redirecting to 249 fixed the problem. This Wii was 4.1U, was updated using Waninkoko's "safe" 4.1 updater.
My Wii has only Priiloader, but it works fine. The only hacks enabled are the HAXX/DVDX/RZDx check, disabling updates, and "auto press A at health/safety screen".

All three Wiis had cIOScorp previously installed.

Wait... uninstall?

I've recently found out that the uninstall feature is not compatible with IOS222...

You will have to use IOS249 instead (rev17 or lower, or rev18/19 base 38)...

But still... it shouldn't freeze...

Maybe recopy all the files from the DARKCORP v1.0 full package to your SD card?
Make sure there is PLENTY of room on the SD card.

Keep in mind that some parts of the installer will appear to freeze for a few minutes, but are still working.

But if it is still freezing for too long, then I'm not sure...

You're cIOS haven't been replaced by stubs by any chance?

I've uninstalled now with the 3.x uninstaller, that works perfectly!
But now again installing, now darkcorp. It gives me the same error, FAT 32 formatted, 739 mb free on micro SD, 200 blocks free...
But now it isn't freezing anymore,
It loads the IOS perfectly, but when he must create/ load the first wad or something, it stops, with the same error.
I don't know anything about the stub cIOS, I know i've done the installation for the CFG usb loader, and i've modded my wii, so i've the ios249 from CFG usb loader...
I really don't know what to do... But with the old installer, that ones does work perfect! Why is this one giving errors?

find the patched .dol file for new super mario bros wii on the net. ( google ). Then open Wiiscrubber and replace the main.dol with the patched one.

Right, im having a fairly annoying problem..

Im wanting to remove DARKCORP, However every time I try to run the installer, it just goes black, the loads back into the homebrew channel. Im lost as for what to do. This happens for both lite and full.

EDIT: Never mind, after a few reloads it decided to work

Which is better, Darkcorp v1.0 Full/Lite or cIOSCORP v3.6 DMM.

I've used the lite installer, with cIOS222, and it's does work fine! I don't know what's wrong with the Full version, but it doesn't read the wads or something, the lite version does dwonload them from internet, and loads it succesful.

my wii is on 3.2u with preloader and softmii 3.0 cIOS249-rev13 but i wanna update to 4.2u and to darkcorp v1.0, can i update to 4.2u with the sticky guide? or do i need to unistall softmii first sorry for all the question just wanna be safe.

Think of it like "cIOSCORP v4.0"

I recommend using DARKCORP's uninstallation feature first, and then install DARKCORP.

hey guys, i have cioscorp v3.4 and i'm on version 3.2e, basically all i need to do is update to darkcorp to get super mario galaxy 2 working right? i also have preloader, cios rev13b and neogamma r6, i dont have to update my ciosrev thingy to get super mario galaxy 2 to work do i? plz help.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 doesn't seem to have any Anti-Piracy stuff in it at all.

Just use the DARKCORP's uninstaller feature to uninstall cIOSCORP v3.4, then install DARKCORP and you should be fine.

Just keep in mind that only the Full version of DARKCORP is compatible with Super Mario Galaxy 2, since SMG2 uses IOS56, which isn't in the Lite version.

@ damysteryman (sorry if I spelt your username wrong) do I really have to uninstall cioscorp v3.4 to install darkcorp? I thought that it would just overwrite over it. Also when my friend tried to install darkcorp full it came up with a bunch of options and we didn't really know which one to use, which option will I have to use as I'm on 3.2e with cios rev 13b installed and priloader, plz help

Which one of these options would I choose, I have cios rev13b installed

If you already have cIOS249 installed, select:
(Uses IOS249) Install/Upgrade to DARKCORP v1.0 (regular mode)

If you have cIOS249 rev18/19, but it’s not base 38, but you have
cIOS222 installed, select:
(Uses IOS222) Install/Upgrade to DARKCORP v1.0 (regular mode)

If however, you have neither cIOS, or only cIOS249 rev18/19, but not
base 38, select:
(Uses 36+249) Install: Virgin Wii method (TBR + cIOS249 r17b + CORP)
This will install cIOS249 rev17 (with DL bug fix), then use it to
install DARKCORP v1.0.

Since you already uninstalled beforehand, yes you can overwrite the Lite version with the Full version.

If the version you have is cIOSCORP v3.5 or older, it's best to uninstall before installing DARKCORP.

Use this one:
(Uses IOS249) Install/Upgrade to DARKCORP v1.0 (regular mode)

However, your cIOS249 is rev13b, which is kinda old. If you want to update it to rev17b (DARKCORP can do that for you), just use this option instead:
(Uses 36+249) Install: Virgin Wii method (TBR + cIOS249 r17b + CORP)

Either of those 2 will work for you.

Use the DARKCORP uninstaller feature, then install DARKCORP v1.0, then use wad manager to install a System menu 4.2 wad of your region.

Make sure you do those 3 steps in THAT EXACT ORDER. Best make a NAND backup with bootmii beforehand.

Then I recommend installing priiloader for some useful hacks.

Interesting, but...

Installing a clean IOS37 will overwrite the corp'd IOS37, meaning that any burned game that needs IOS37 will not work.

How did you get a burned game working after doing this?
Were you using a modchip?
Or did you test this with a retail copy of RB2?
