Hi I just updated the Wii to 4.2E I have installed Darkcorp and Neogamme R9. Plays games just fine... But when my Mrs went to put in the old original Wii Fit game it asked for a system update? Any reasons why?

Its ok I read a little further and Priiloader is my answer no probs..

When back on the main menu, go down to select Remove stubbed IOSs and press A.
Press A to choose remove stub IOS 222, 223, 249, 250, 254.
Press any button to return to the main menu.

All right, I've followed this guide from 3.2E (with no hacks, no HBC other than hardmoded D2Ckey) by updating to 4.2E with update.zip and continued
to modify.zip

When I choose "remove stub IOS 222, 223, 249, 250, 254", all it says "No stub ISO found" press
any button to continue to menu. First, I thought that I did something wrong, so I tried again but the same message
came up.

Have I done something wrong? or is it OK to continue with the guide?

my wii has the cios rev17 which followed this method previously. Would it be fine to update to rev19 which it would mix up the bases which is normally used? I don't want to install a rev19 then no wad can be installed and can't play games like mh3.

what is the detail of cios222,223,249,250 used here if i wanna update to rev19? Because installs wads and playing games like mh3 highly affected by the bases used...

I followed the guide and successfully upgraded my softmodded 4.0 wii to 4.2 but I have a weird problem.

When I open USBLoader GX it shows the games on the HDD but when I click on them it does nothing. Once I do that I can't click on anything as if it partially freezes.

Any ideas?

after using this guide i got some problems and a lot of solutions. tnx. but here comes my problems:
1. Some old backups stopped working. I've tried some backup loaders and i get the same frozenscreen.
2. I've installed the usb-launcher but it always says its a slow USB and i need to wait some seconds but it never recognize it. i've got a kingston flashdrive 8Gb, maybe thats the problem, formated with WBFS and with 3 games.
3. When i try to use CIOS249 to install a wad a get a error: -1029. i'm not using NAND emulator. thats fine cause i can still install using CIOS36. but with some newer stuf i can install but when i try to run it i get a message: this channel can't be used.

im really glad for this faq but i would be filled with joy if someone could help me out with this 3 problems...

1. What frozen screen are you talking about ? Make sure you install all the required IOS's for the game you are trying to run.

2. USB Device Compatibility List. Try plugging in the device after the usb loader has started. Or just get a new USB stick / Drive.

3. What Base did you install as. Only cIOSX BASE 38 will work with installing wads.

QUOTE(slaydesigns @ Jun 2 2010, 07:44 AM) Would anyone mind sharing a link to MMM 13.2 w/ Hackmii? I can't seem to find this link anywhere, if it even exists.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks Riley, but I was refering to the MMM with Hackmii built in. I have MMM 12.8 with Hackmii built in. I just wanted the newest version. This build I am refering to must not so popular and frowned upon.

whats the difference? U want to launch the hackmii installer from within MMM, just use the APP launcher built within MMM and save the hackmii installer to sd:/apps/hackmii/boot.elf

seriously, whats the difference? That link to the version u are referring to was removed by mods in the MMM thread because it infringes on the rights and requests of Team Twiizers.

Hi, I am trying to use thie excelent guide to updatre an old wii (2.1). It seems that I cant do that without upgrading the firmware, 2.1 is to old for bannerbomb.

SO, what do I do, should i just upgrade "legally"? I cant use auto nus downloader either (no support for 2,1).

Is it possible to upgrade from nintendo and then jump in on the modify 4.2 part of the guide?

This is what I thought I had done before with v 12.8
I put the MMM w/ Hackmii (boot.dol) on the SD root
Using a 4.2 SM, Loaded MMM using SD icon method
Now all of my tools are in front of me.
I can install BootMii, HBC, patch IOS36 etc., all from one screen.

That's the main reason I like. I could be wrong, but I thought that's the way I used it awhile back.

Thanks for this great tut. After downloading the modify.zip, I started working on my Wii (4.2). All went well except when installing cISO250[57]-v19.wad. The error was "Content 19/25 (-1022)". All other cIOS in /wad folder were installed OK. Any hints or directions from the forum would be greatly appreciated. Thanks heaps in advanced.
