That's why. They don't work on flashcarts and emulators.
I might go buy this just to say I have it. I almost have all the US released Zelda games (not including the cd-i ones).
For some reason people always presume that all the CD-i Zeldas were utter tat from what they've read. I own all 3 CD-i Zeldas, and I personally don't mind the 3rd one to be released ("Zelda's Adventure" - it actually feels remotely like a proper Zelda game)... The other 2 Zeldas for the CD-i however don't deserve the light of day
(lipstick Link etc...)
Can't wait to pick this up from the store, I've been meaning to. One of the best Zelda games, ever. BTW, the CD-I Zelda games really are garbage - even though Zelda's Adventure is at least playable.
Want a real laugh? Grab the CD-I Hotel Mario. It's only available on the 'net, as it was never released. Never, never hand out your franchise characters to crummy development studios.

I bought the original gold cartridge back in the days of the NES, and loved it. While it's quite different from the other games, that never really bothered me. I've beaten it countless times, and can't wait to do it again.

yeah well i started with lttp and link awakening and zelda BS?(whatever the remake is called) so i didnt really like it.
They might not be able to be patched since they trimmed the roms down to 8mb instead of leaving them at 32. Stupid batman.
I have this game on my Zelda Collectors Disc, i like the game
I think it's the most underrated game in the series
Anyway, i don't like the idea of paying 20$ just for this game, but since it's the only legal way(that i know of) to play it on the GBA, i guess it's ok(unlike Classic NES Metroid)

Hotel Mario was the Mario game that was~ finished on the CD-i, the one that was only in development for less than a year was "Super Mario's Wacky Worlds" - it was intended to be the followup to Mario World, despite it being made by "NovaLogic" instead of Nintendo - that game was good, and showed alot of promise (I'm a big CD-i maniac incase you didn't notice)
Sorry for the off topicness. It'll probably take a while for patched versions of this game to appear anyways won't it... Time will tell if it's patchable

i think it was DS..but im not sure.
i didn't realy like zelda till awhile back when i played OoT on n64 on a emulator
and it rocked.. i never finshed lltp thou i kinda tried to cuz the puzzels and all bites..
