I have recently had to replace an Acekard due to a dog eating the old one. Yea! Don’t ask!
I have noticed some strange differences between the new and old
Old card
Flashcart - Ak2i, HW81, no spring
Firmware - akAIO RC2, not flashed to 1.4
SD card - Kingston (Taiwan), 4GB, class 4, formatted and eraesd with panasonic tool
New card
Flashcart - Ak2i, HW81, spring loaded
Firmware - akAIO RC2, flashed to 1.4
SD card - Kingston (Taiwan), 8GB, class 4, formatted and eraesd with panasonic tool
I have noticed some differences when playing Pokemon Platinum.
The old card was slow to save, took around 8ses and the new card saves in around 1-2secs. But the strange thing is the old card was a lot smoother in game. The new one appears to stutter, especially in the menus where the scrolling between items is extremely slow.
This is wierd as I would expect the one that was slow to save would also be slow in game but this is not the case.
Any ideas?
