I think it's nice that they added him again. I liked jumping higher, and the slipping effect didn't bother me too much in the last game.

I am all for seeing and playing him in the game but he looks like a clone character, unless I'm mistaken, Luigi doesn't seem to jump that much higher.

IDK if they're doing Luigi-specific levels or another "do the game over as Luigi" type of thing. Although really I'd like to do the game over with a significantly different character... Maybe Yoshi alone?
This game is really shaping up though, if I had the money I'd pre-order it. Unfortunately I'll end up pirating this one.
Hell yeah! I've always been a Luigi guy for some odd reason. I pick him whenever possible. I guess I just like the appeal of an underdog character.
Why? The challenge is what makes it fun. In contrast I'd preffer they make the unlockable even more complex...Bladexdsl said:

I was just thinking, if they ever made a new super smash bros, those new power ups like the rock thing can be giving to mario or luigi in that game.

Sweet, but that makes me wonder: Is Luigi still the same as in SMG1? Because he was pretty much better than Mario in every way.SoulSnatcher said:Yay!
He's unlocked from the beginning now!
It'd be too easy to play through the game with Luigi, though I guess they'll make an achievement or something where you still have to beat the game with both characters.
