Alright, so a few weeks back I decided to get bored of my web browser and look for some new ones. So I looked through them all, and played with them, and their features and stuff for a few days each. Here's my ranking for all of them, starting with the worst:

Apple Safari
Well, I quite disliked this browser. I guess I'm an Apple hater, but still.
So I'll start off with what's good:
Cool new tab page that takes you to your most recent pages, or pages you configure to be there all the time.
Private browsing
Spell check
What's bad:
No customization
No add ons
No mouse controls
Overall: Sure it takes you to the internet, but that's about it. Web browsers in this day and age need extra stuff. We like to see different backgrounds, we like customization, we're lazy, so we want extra features that make it easier to browse. Safari fails on these accounts.

Internet Explorer
The definition of par for a web browser. If it doesn't at least have what IE has, it's a bad browser. Thankfully there aren't any that don't do what IE does. Cuz there's not too much that IE actually does.
What's good:
Minorly customizable
Add ons
Private browsing
What's bad:
Minimal customization
No mouse controls
No default spell check
It's not that it's bad, but similar to what I said with Safari, there's just not much to offer. IE has a few cool add ons, but most are lame. No spell check is quite annoying as nearly every browser has spell check these days.

Google Chrome
It has the feel for a very lite browser. It's got tabs, and it's got add on's. That's about all you see, but it's not a bad thing... for the most part. Let's take a look at the pros and cons.
What's good:
Customizable
Add on's are sometimes cool
Very lite interface doesn't get in your way
Cool new tab that shows recent sites
Spell check
What's bad:
Perhaps too lite feeling in its interface.
Add on's can be buggy
No reliable mouse controls
It's got more stuff than the previous browsers, but it feels like there should be more.

Firefox
This has become the definitive web browser over the past few years. It's led the way in terms of customization, and it's impressive when compared to the past web browsers reviewed. Let's jump in to what's good and not.
What's good:
Spell check
Incredibly customizable
Lots of cool add on's
Private browsing
What's bad:
No default mouse controls
Honestly, there's not much I can say that makes this browser bad. It's a solid browser that delivers on most aspects. There are a ton of add on's to choose from, and it's easy to customize the browser to your liking.

Orca Browser
So you've probably never heard of this browser, which is a shame, cuz it's quite awesome. It's a hybrid of Firefox and the browser I'll tell you about next. Anyway, it's a cool browser packed with cool content. Lemme break it down:
What's good:
Spell check
Minorly customizable
Mouse controls!
Autofill
What's bad:
No private browsing
Can slow down sometimes
It's well worth trying for a bit, and it's hard to go wrong with something mixed with firefox. Only downside is the occasional slow down.

Avant Browser
This is a peculiar browser. It uses Internet Explorer, but it acts as its own browser. It's got tabs and such, but the hilight (along with that of Orca) is the fact that it has mouse controls. This means that if you hold down the right mouse button, you can click the left mouse button to go back, move the mouse to refresh the page, close the page, open a new tab, switch through tabs. It's pretty sweet.
What's good:
Mouse controls
Minorly customizable
Mouse controls
Autofill
What's bad:
No private browsing
No spell check
A great browser. It's a bit lite, but it's still quite good. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Opera Browser
It takes the cake, Opera is awesome. It's very customizable, it's got mouse controls, it's got private browsing, it's got cool add on things, it's got everything you could want. It also scrolls really sexily. It's got an autofill feature, a new tab thing that displays web pages as you configure it (and you can display your own picture in the new tab to make you feel special) It's truly amazing.
What's good:
Mouse controls
Cool add on's that allow file sharing right in the browser
Cool new tab page
Autofill
Private browsing in its own window or in just a tab
Sexy scroll feature
What's bad:
Some compatibility issues with a few sites.
Overall, you may need a backup browser for a few sites that don't support Opera, but it's still the best browser out there that's still growing. The Wii even uses it! So I'd tell you all to check it out if you have had your doubts, cuz it's quite awesome.
