So USB Games should be in /games/ folder on FAT32? or NTFS?

Is there a tool that extracts iso's in the right format for DI in batch mode?

Meh, when the batch thingy comes I will use SNEEK.

Until then, cfg usb loader

Are there other ways to extract your ISO than Wiiscrubber for SNEEK?

I am having trouble getting sneek to work. First I used a nand backup (4.1u) I had from my wii but whenn I went to boot up sneek it went to preloader. So I followed the directions for ignoring preloader but preloader still came up. Now I have created a virgin nand following the steps listed on the first post and used showmiiwads to create the new folders for the nand. I go to boot sneek up hoping I can do a system update to 4.2u but now the screen goes black for a second and then I get a no signal screen. Can anybody help me in getting this to work. Thanks

Edit silly me I forgot to set the autoboot to sysmenu

I really don't understand what I've done wrong that prevents me from being able to use sneek. It's been driving me nuts for days now, It's all I can think about is "why doesn't it work!"
Is it possible, even remotely that there is just something about my Wii personally that prevents it from being able to use Sneek? Is it maybe the SD card or something? I'm tempted to go out and buy another one just to find out but it works with Triiforce (which is notoriously picky with SD cards) and any other homebrew I throw at it.If you're getting a black screen when trying to boot SNEEK, try the following:
* Confirm you have a good boot2 and armboot
* Confirm you have a Bootmii settings .INI file with Autoboot enabled
* Remove peripherals from USB ports before turning on
* Remove GCN memory cards before turning on
* Make sure the NAND dump you're using doesn't have Preloader on it (if it does, go to title/00000001/00000002/content, find the 100000XX.app file that corresponds to a 000000XX file, delete the 0 and rename the 1 to what the 0 was to remove Preloader)
* Make sure you're not using a crappy SD card (some slow cards and Transcend models won't work)
Check the SNEEK Google Code page FAQ for anything I might have missed.

QUOTE(happydance @ Apr 16 2010, 04:55 PM)
how can you verify if...

1. your complied boot2.bin/armboot is OK.. CRC? SFV?
2. your nand dump is good?
3. your nand from scratch with the help of showmiiwads is good?

it's a bit tricky to troubleshoot out where something could messed up

thankyou both for the helpful tips, I haven't got preloader (it's a clean / new NAND made from NDSU downloads) and there's no GCN stuff connected. I'll try unplugging the USB hard drive and I'll post back with SFV / CRC or some other hash for my armboot and boot2 as soon as I get them

Could someone please post a Hash of a the current build's boot2_sd.bin ? MD5/SFV/CRC whatever

Place DiscEx.exe on your C: drive with your iso file and use command promt after a few goes you will have down pat
EXample c:\>DiscEx [1] game.iso
This app will extract all files to there correct folders and file format
to make it easy use Wiiscrubber to delete update partition
EDIT: Having Problems with "DiscEx2.exe" tends to wipe iso to a 0kb file . I went back to original release DiscEx.exe

Here's a way to install HBC on a 4.2X SNEEK NAND :
You MUST make the adjustments to the SNEEK source listed in this thread before compiling your SNEEK nand for SD.
SNEEKInstallerv0.1b1-cred will not work as it DOES NOT have SD enabled when it builds and installs it.

If you are using a Bootmii nand from your own Wii for SNEEK,
Use WADCreator v1 to dump an HBC.wad to your SD stick from your real nand using HBC.
Then use Showmiiwads to install it to your SNEEK nand and make sure it's a (JODI) version.

Added to the first post.

May not work for everyone, but it definitely worked for me.

For some reason, when my external hard drive is plugged in and I go to start normal SNEEK, it only successfully starts up if the Wii is in standby mode, but if the Wii is completely off it just goes to a black screen. Is this normal or is there something wrong with my setup?

This could be related to power issues with the USB hard drive.

For example: Using SNEEK+DI or UNEEK I have to power-cycle my Wii to get the USB hard drive working. It never works the first time from cold boot, but it always works after a hard power down and quick power up.

i.e. Push power button --> no signal --> push and hold power button to power all the way down --> push power button again to power up --> works.

I know that when the Wii is in standby mode my USB hard drive is still getting power (HD light is on).

About the USB power issue... what kinda HDD you using? I have one of those 320gb Western Digital Passports (The USB Powered ones) and I tried what you do with the power cycle, but still no go.

The only difference between yours and mine is that mine is a 250gb.

I have the 500gb and I can't get it to work with GX, SNEEK or anything but I have 3 other drives that work fine. It IS the only usb powered drive I have though. Thought it was worth mentioning. I've tried everything with it also, believe me, can't get nothing to work with it.

Seagate FreeAgent 250 and 320 GB models.

I also have a WD Passport 60GB model that has different issues:

SNEEK Issue #35

Edit:
All of these drives work fine in USB loaders with no power cycling needed. I think it's just the spin-up time affects SNEEK's ability to read the drive right away.

Well I spent hours, even with the auto installer, trying to get Sneek to work, and I've come to the conclusion that it won't ever work on my Wii since I can't use boot2 apparently. I tried installing BootMii as boot2 and it says boot1 is preventing it. I read this is a form of anti-piracy on Nintendo's part. I bought my Wii in the summer of 2008 though, I thought that was way before Nintendo started taking action...

Hmm, not sure what I'm doing wrong then. I have everything installed correctly with crediar's auto installer, I put it in the Wii and turn it on and everything is still normal. I tried launching BootMii from HBC and I get a black screen. I know everything's in the right directory though, I checked.
