Quite a project you have going here. With a few games available, and at least a few more to come. Any chance of a full custom game in the end?

Maps can't be edited for Pokémon DS games (yet). Maybe in the future, but for now, I'll only focus on storyline and difficulty, etc.
A lot of people downloaded the Bèta-version last week, so I'm really looking forward to all the comments / ratings / bug reports / etc.!
I'm currently editing the first post's buglist, as some players found more bugs. I really try to correct them, so the next version will be great!
I don't see why people would stop playing it, seeing how it's the best Pokémon game so far (for me, at least).
your right, Platinum was good for me- I just played it way too much.
I do. I can tell you, after I finished this, I'll start the same project but with Pokémon HG / SS.

I think the problem with adding the new new pokemon is that there are no movesets or the such for them as of yet?
It would be difficult to come up with a totally new moveset and abilities for them.
Plus the sprites would need to be animated and a shiny version made.

And why don't you replace Togepi and Togetic ? It's like in HG/SS, the Togepi egg is given by Cynthia and they are almost not used in the game.Oxnite said:

Thanks for the sprites. Can I use them freely without giving credits? Otherwise, I'll try to create my own. If I replace Togepi and Togetic, then there's still Togekiss.. Besides, I already 'used' Togepi in the game, as some Trainers do have Togepi / Togetic / Togekiss in their teams. It's a nice idea though. I cán edit the Egg Pokémon Cynthia gives you, so that won't give any problems.

The Unowns have different sprites, but are actually just óne Pokémon. I want to add Zorua too, so that would cause some troubles...
Regarding the Zorua / Zoroark addition, I was thinking about replacing Phione and Manaphy. There's no in-game Event that let's you get Manaphy, so it would be impossible to receive it in-game - except by cheating or by Pokémon Ranger (but I guess the original Manaphy you ever obtained (via Ranger) is on another copy of Pokémon DPP of yours). Phione therefore is useless as well. If some more people agree with this, I might create a Poll so people can vote whether they would like this change or not. Even more pre's:
- At the end of the Sinnoh Dex, so it can be counted as a Legendary
- It's close to Darkrai (and this rom edit kinda features Darkrai, so I could do something with Zoroark, too)

I'm almost sure there's a cheat like that available somewhere. If it's for HG/SS, then it will be there for Platinum too, I guess.

Edited Great Marsh, Pastoria and Route 212! That was a whole lot of editing + testing.

How come you can't edit sprites? Because you can't do sprite editing yourself or is it a coding limitation?

Please don't.
