If your refering to the DVD5 version then its a bad dump as the game is actually a DVD9 and works fine for me at default settings, PAL btw

Did you get the PAL redump? I'm trying NTSC

it has nothing to do with cover art, just get the configurator for configurable usb loader and use that to modify your config files to hide whatever games u chooseSchtinky said:To be able to hide games in the loader do the coverart files need to be saved in the 4 character format? If so where are these 4 char. id's located?

Code:It was listed like this on the wikidot tut @ http://gwht.wikidot.com/configurable-options ÂÂÂÂhide_game = 0, GAMEID1, GAMEID2, … Listing games here is equivalent to locking them in the loader, except that you cannot change the value of the hide_game option within the loader. GAMEIDs should be in the 4 character form.
QUOTETo hide games in the loader, you need to unlock admin lock (press and hold 1 then enter password). Then just go into game options for the ones you want hidden and enable the Hide option.
To use the download missing cover options, you need to push right on the d-pad. Pushing left will download all of them. I assume that you are pushing A, though, and that should perform the same action as pushing right, so please post again if pushing right still attempts to download all the covers.Schtinky said:My attempts at hiding games have failed using both the configurator and through the program itself after unlocking admin rights with the password. I figured I had something set wrong somewhere and all I can come up with is the cover.
The covers have nothing to do with it. I don't know why you are having trouble in the loader. What is going wrong with it? As for the Configurator, maybe I can help.
Note that to hide the games in the Configurator, there are two methods. The harder method is to try to construct the hide_game option values usng the IDs. The easier one is as follows:
[*]In Cfg, save your global settings (1 twice to get to global options then 2 to save)[*]In the Configurator, go to the Game Settings tab[*]Load settings.cfg from the SD/USB (via File...Load settings.cfg or the button)[*]Click the Manage favorites/hidden button[*]In the dialog that appears, select the games you want to be hidden using the checkboxes[*]Select OK[*]Save settings.cfg to the SD/USB (via File....Save settings.cfg or the button)
A little problem. I have all my covers (2d, 3d, full, disc) on my USB hdd (fat32 partition, active, etc). When I load CFGLoader, I see a few games are missing covers. If I go to the main menu and select the option to download all the MISSING covers, it attempts to download every game's cover, even if I'm looking right at it already.bralph said:If I'm using a FAT32 partition, I want to use the v56-222 version and not the plain v56, right?
Either version is OK for FAT32 now. If you have rev18 or rev19 of IOS249 and want to use IOS249, use the plain version (and add partition=fat1 to config.txt or settings.cfg). If you have v4 or v5 of IOS222 and want to use IOS222, use the -222 version.
You have to play the game from the original disc once before it will work with the loader. If you don't have the original disc, either go and buy one, or do some searching as the issues to get this working without the disc are very well documented.Jabe said:Hi!
I have some trouble launching Wii Sports Resorts (Pal) what do you suggest?
QUOTE(OrGoN3 @ Apr 7 2010, 06:48 AM)
The only fix I found thus far is to go to each game that is missing a cover and manually select to download the cover. This gets really annoying after adding numerous games to my partition.
Does anyone know a fix for this? Is this having to do with the cache files not reading from the USB HDD properly??
We do. On the last post of the page look at the bottom right of it. It says search. Click it and type your query. Presto!ZakMcRofl said:Is it just me or does this forum really need a search-in-thread function?
ZakMcRofl said:I was trying to run Wii Sports Resort from USB (other games work fine) and got the reset problem. Now I researched a bit and found the alternate dol solution (loading player.dol from the ISO once).
However this seems like a hacky workaround. Is it possible that I just need to update some IOS so these types of games work?
Does anyone know the technical explanation for this? Why can't Configurable USB Loader fix the load behavior for this type of game?
Other than that, the loader if fraking awesome!

Do you still have the loader in its unlocked state when testing that? In the unlocked state, all hidden games are displayed because otherwise there would be no way to unhide them. You need to relock the loader to actually see them be hidden. Either hold 1 again, or restart the loader.Schtinky said:QUOTE said:The covers have nothing to do with it. For the loader, when I choose to hide a game and save settings it says it is hidden when I return to the game's options screen but it still appears along side all the other games. I'll go back through the configurator how you said.
