Hacking GBA on r4 with memory expansion

i have a ds lite and an r4 cartridge.
i want to play gba roms on it and i was wondering if i can play the roms that i have converted to .nds (with NDStation 1.1 - http://filetrip.net/f751-NDStation-1-1.html) when i have the extra RAM from the memory expansion pack for dsl designed for opera browser (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Nintendo-DS-Browser-Lite/dp/B000IH89W6)
Thanks because i dont want to buy it and then it not.
by the way, with no extra RAM in my ds it just freezes on the 'Gameboy' screen

Actually the Opera expansion pack doesn't work for GBA games. Instead get the EZ Flash 3in1 which works with GBA and the Opera Browser, which I reccomend becasue its affordable and wroks rather well. Also NDStation is really outdated and doesn't work with later R4 firmwares. Instead use GBAexploader by Ruldoph or load GBA roms from YSmenu.

    @Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.

    Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.

    @Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

    Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
