ROM Hack Pokemon HG/SS: Completely Random!

I was just wondering how long until someone started an HGSS493 patch.
I never dreamed it would only take 1 cheat code.

The only problem with this is the fact that at least 50% of what you're going to find have abyssal catch rates.

when i use the random level code, all the pokemon's level are 32.

I'm sorry if I sound dumb here, but I can't get this code to work (or maybe I did and I was lucky enough to get only Pidgeys and Sentrets in 7 tries).

I used the Cheat Code Editor and created a new cheat code for my Pokémon Soul Silver. Used the CCE 'get game Id from ROM' and pasted the code for the JP version [since I'm using the same patch the author pointed].

Then I enabled it in my R4DS, but it doens't seem to be working. Not even by starting a new game file. .-.

Any help here? >

Using latest DSTT FW and Heart gold (Rudolph child play patch) the cheats don´t work. Can anyone please fix it??

Using R4 with YSMenu and Heart Gold (U) with Rudolph patch didn't work.

Just insert the cheat in the Heart Gold (U) folder of my usrcheat.dat and it should work right?

Is there a base "enable cheats" code for HG that we're missing?

e: What's going on here? (R4 + YSMenu)
Other cheats for HG work but the random cheat has no effect.

The random cheat works fine on No$GBA.

Code doesn't work for me (but some others do, like 990 of each Ball). I'm using an R4, with YSMenu, on a rudolph-patched HG copy. How'd you input the code, Basher? I tossed it in there with r4cce.

This is the only code for HG that I cannot get to work. Again, R4 with YSMenu and Rudolph patch. It doesn't work when left as a constant code. I tried tying it to a button combo to randomize it on command, and that didn't seem to work either. I've already beaten my retail copy of SS, including kicking the tar outta Red, and I'm really hoping to make this work as a way to spice up a new playthrough...
