Wii be "Rampage Total Destrucion" and "Indiana Jones" added into it?

Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings is in the .wdm set that WiiPower released. I don't know about Rampage, but you can easily create your own .wdm file for it.

Just checking... did you mean the following pattern?

D:/wbfs/XXXXXX.iso

I use the official forwarder but can never get CFG to launch from a USB HDD. Is it only working when it's a FAT and not NTFS partition?
Yes. You can only launch the loader from FAT partitions.

Thanks. It would be nice to have NTFS support for this though.
Well, you're talking to the wrong people. It has nothing to do with Cfg. You would need somebody to add NTFS code to a forwarder. I doubt it will ever happen.

Hey guys, i'm new to this whole mod thing so....bare with me. I'll try to make this quick.

Got a Wii last week and I went about softmodding it using this tutorial. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JRVVI9RyhbQ

Everything works great so far. Got WBFS Manager 3.0 to put my games on an external hdd formatted to wbfs.

Most of the games i've tried have worked flawlessly.

The tutorial was a few months old so I figured there had to be updates since then.
The loader was ver45 I think....and through the loaders options I updated it to ver56.
I'm still running ios249 rev 14. My Wii is 4.2u.....if that matters.

So here's my questions.

Is it advisable to update 249 rev 14 to something higher? It claims to have problems running dual layer games but I can play games like Smash Bros just fine. If so....what is the latest rev out? I've only seen it go up to rev 19.

What is the status on Metroid Prime Trilogy? I understand people have trouble running it. I learned how to boot into mp1 and mp2 but mp3 won't work no matter what. I know thats a problem...just wondering if it's been resolved.

Wii Sports Resort. I booted up the player.dol and watched the video then set it back. However it will only play for me when the video is set to game default. Then it looks kinda bad because it appears to be displaying at 4:3 when my TV and wii is set to display at 16:9. It cuts off a huge chunk of picture from the bottom. Almost makes navigating the menu impossible. If I set the video to System Default, it will just crash to a black screen.

Madworld. It's giving me similar problems that Wii sports resort is. Madworld will only play if its set to game default, force pal50 or 60. NTSC just makes my screen flicker bad. System Default causes it to crash. When It actually boots up the whole picture is moved down and to the right. Too much of the screen is cut off to make it worth playing.

Any help would be great. These are the only games i've had problems with. The loader and everything else works great. I just wonder though if maybe updating the ios will solve some of the issues?

Thanks for any help. I will try to provide any further info if needed.

MPT is a dual layer game. That is why it can't play MP3. Also, try watching the How to Play video or going through The Subspace Emissary and you will find that SSBB fails too. Yes, you should upgrade to rev 19, for these and many more reasons.

I suspect you are using 480p given your Madworld experience. Set video to Force NTSC and video patch to All in order to force 480p. That might help for your other games too, although the errors you describe are more issues with your TV than with Cfg. Keep trying out other combinations of the patches and you might be lucky to find a combination your TV likes.

You should definitely use cIOS rev19 (latest at the time of posting). cIOS rev19 is a bit different, though; the base IOS can be changed. In other words, you can use IOS37 as the base so instrument games like Rock Band will work.

Metroid Prime 3 isn't working from the Trilogy ISO because the game is a dual-layered game, which cIOS rev14 doesn't like. (Metroid Prime 3 is the only one that occupies the second layer.)

Thanks for the heads-up. Just 1 more little thing, must the partition be made active for the forwarder to detect it under FAT32?

It shouldn't need to be, but sometimes it seems to help some people.

I'm looking for cios rev 19 now. Having a bit of trouble finding it.
I'm assuming that once it's installed it'll solve some of the issues with dual layer games?

As for Madworld...
My Wii displays in 480i. Won't let me select edtv/hdtv/480p. I'm assuming you have to purchase some component cables to get it to display higher than 480i.
I still tried to do what you suggested but it just caused the image to shift down and to the right while flickering badly. I've tried a bunch of different combos but nothing will get it to display properly. Just setting the video to game default gets the best picture. Very clear and no flickering. However like I said...the whole picture is shifted down and to the right, leaving black bars across the top and left side of the screen. Also the game seems to crash almost everytime I exit to the wii home menu no matter what configuration I use.

I've also tried several configs with wii sports resort. It won't display properly either but not like madworld. It takes up the entire screen but the bottom and sides are cut off. game default, pal50 and 60 all display the same way. system default and ntsc will cause the screen to go black. And just like madworld, when I try to goto the home menu, the game will crash.

Every game I have displays fine and the only settings I changed on all of them was to display the video at the system default. Just these two games are the ones giving me trouble so far no matter what I do.

Hi everybody,

I have a problem on one of my Wiis, when I updated to v5 of hermes ios and the latest version of the loader many games stopped working and I have no idea why.

I am using the fat version and have tried selecting a few different ios's trying to get them to load but nothing seems to work.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

FYI: I am using an external HDD formatted to FAT32 with the files stored as .wbfs in wbfs/Gamename [ID]/ID.wbfs

Has anybody gotten Rugby League 3 working with Configurable USB Loader?

I'm running a PAL Wii with 4.1 update, it has a Wiikey V1 installed. Using what I believe are the latest cIOS files, unless they've been updated recently in the last couple of weeks?

Currently the game only gives me the quick play option which it supposedly does if it 'detects' a modchip?
