I can't find a genre anymore!!!!

I have been playing games for so long already. However lately I can't really just play one game because I don't get hooked into the game anymore. Lately I tried GTA IV and got bored quickly. Tried Final Fantasy XIII and the same thing happed. Gave Assassin's Creed 2 a shot and it lasted for a little longer but also got bored. Am i being too picky or what?

Do you pirate games? If so, it's what I call Pirate Syndrome. I get it a lot. With lots of games accessible at any time, you find yourself bored of games quickly, since you know you can always find 5 more in their place. Really, maybe those games just weren't for you. Every now and then I'm sure there'll be a game that sucks you in until the end. I'm rather picky myself with games so I know how you feel.

Yeah I have some. But even the ones I buy. I guess I have to sell a whole bunch I don't play anymore.

I have it too, it's really annoying....

Back on topic, what I do is go back to a game that I have really enjoyed in the past.
For me that's some old(er) games like Age of Empires 2, Pokemon Silver, GTA SA, Revolt, Dungeon Keeper 2,....
Just games where you grow up with.

With me, I could play any game with fun and for hours after that gem.

Same thing often happens to me too. I then play some Terranigma (best game ever IMHO) and I'm okay again.
