This game is actually pretty decent, nothing ground breaking but plays well enough.

Game wise Disney seem to want to make a change when it comes to licensed releases.

Shame that the film is derivative Burton, the man has lost it.

This film is horrible and not familiar to disney cartoon version movie. It is suppose to be cute and friendly for kids but this is scary and terrified and not good for kids. DISAPPOINTMENT. I dont like to play the game importing from the movie at all.

I think you'll find that it is the disney cartoon that is the exception here. Alice in Wonderland is NOT cute and friendly for kids, Disney made it that way. Same goes for most of Disney's classic movies that are either complete revisions of horrible old medieval fairy tales that were meant to scare the shit out of kids or distorted retellings of historical events that were actually dark and gruesome in reality.

Rated PG for fantasy action/violence involving scary images and situations, and for a smoking caterpillar.

So damn true... I think I remember hearing the Little Mermaid's original telling was really warped or something... I like the original stuff, much more impressive and fun to me.

I actually really liked the movie, there were only 2 things that bugged me. The first one is that I had to see it in 3D...my eyes cannot see 3D movies, ect because I have no depth perception. The second is that I've actually read the books and noticed a number of things wrong with it. It wasn't a bad movie, I've seen worse. The cartoon focused on the first book more than this one, which focused on Through the Looking Glass. Disney has a way with murdering classic tales, but this one was a bit truer to the original tale than the first one was.

Honestly I thought Ponyo was way closer to the original tale of The Little Mermaid than the Disneyfied version that they made for a movie and that movie was aimed for little kids and was just inspired by the tale...

I thought the movie was great, but I went to see it because it's a Burton and I didn't give a shit about the original Alice stories. So if you don't try to compare it with the originals, I think the movie is pretty good.

I also saw it in 3D and I must say it's the first time I was a little lost about what was going on. I have to say I was WAY closer to the screen that what I use to be (thanks for all the kids that was there to see it...), so maybe that's what affected my vision. I won't pay another 15 bucks to saw it again from a better point of view though

I know this is supposed to be a thread about the game, but.... I haven't seen the movie yet. Isn't it more like Alice Through the Looking Glass than Alice in Wonderland? Just curious.
