This is the first good DBZ game on the GBA. Legacy of Goku 1 was ok but way to short! Part 2, well I never finished it but it improved a lot!

Those other beat 'm up dbz games on GBA sucked my behind

are these games like the old snes dbz fighters? because they were fairly below average, i reckon.

gba is in desperate need of better fighters. street fighter alpha 3 was amazing, the entire mortal kombat series sucked though and not much else has been very impressive, 'cept maybe the last gundam, but that is pretty limited.

there was talk of capcom vs snk for gba, but i haven't heard much of that recently.

Well, I've completely beaten this game (although I beat it before it came out in English)...There isn't really much that's special about it, other than the cool fighting system.

After a while, fights get very repetitive and "rewards" (stuff you buy in the options area - gimme a break, I played this in Jap.), aren't rewarding enough. For example, the thing that costs however many THOUSAND points or whatever, is a friggin' gallery. A GALLERY...I think the game has a pretty low replay value, especially after you unlock all characters and gallery.

All in all, I personally view this as a better fighting game than most of the SNES ones (except Hyper Dimension..jumping into the background = cool),

Happy trails.

Back in my Day, you'd beat a game on Hard Mode and it'd tell you to beat the game on VERY HARD. And what did you get for beating the game on Very Hard?

"CONGRATULATION !! YOU ARE A SUPER PLAYER. THANK YOU FOR PLAYING!"

That was it. Playing the game itself was reward enough. There were no unlockables. No secret characters. No alternate player skins.

So, you know, be thankful they at least put the gallery in. Be thankful they put in any effort to have unlockable characters (with multiple power levels). I mean, of course there's nothing left for you to do once you unlock everything.

That's like saying "SO ONCE I BEAT THE FINAL BOSS, IT WAS OVER! I HAD FINISHED THE GAME! HOW LAME IS THAT?"

Well... this does seem to be the best dbz game control wise but it just lacks the moves, there arn't that many to choose from is there?

Hey, don't forget the credits. I watched them scroll every time I beat a game. And at the very end, it would have the logo of the company that made the games.
