That's what I figured, but I also thought it might not be entirely impossible they implemented the non-translation changes of the US version to the Japanese version. That's what they did for Mother 1+2 (ie, several of the features that were added to Mother's ultimately cancelled English release were added into the Japanese version for the remake).

Granted, the Famicom Mini Series is a far cry from a compilation, but I always like to keep an open mind, given how many people have closed ones.

I get a gamepak error(in japanese) when trying to play this, Kid Icarus, or Metroid on the hardware...anyone know how to fix this?

That's what I was talking about-the hardware. Is there any patches or anything that was used on the NES minis that also had these errors that would work on these?

And furthermore, why are you going around to each of the threads posting the same thing? Thank you, we can see they were all released in a series. They're all lined up across the main page afterall. Scroll up and there's Castlevania, scroll down and there's Metroid.

legend of zelda j is one of the few famicom mini games that work on emu, as i recall. there was suppossed to be a patch by rising sun for the legend of zelda u release to play it on either emu or hardware, but i tried it 3 times, and it did not work on my ezfa, it started in vba, but it did not save, altho i guess i could've used save states...
