I'm not on the hate wagon here, but I agree it's not as good as everyone says. I found it standard. Fun, but not nearly living up to the hype. I'm a FF6 man, along with the classics that are more basic.
FF7 doesn't need a remake anyways. Waste of possible NEW good games. Not that people will be happy with ANYTHING SE does...

Eh, I don't think it needs a remake, although I do love the game. It was simply incredible when it first came out, and as the first RPG I played, it got me into the genre which I've been in love with ever since.

I wouldn't say VII sucked, but it's definitely not as good as many people seem to make it out to be. I mean it's good, but it just didn't provide me with an enjoyable experience like VI did. I'm still hoping they'll remake V and VI for the DS, since IV got one. I've haven't played V yet, and a 3D remake of VI would just be awesome

Good. I love FF7 but I couldn't be happier with the news. I hate for the fellow fanbase is stronger than my love for the game and nothing is better than to see them in anguish and tears.
