I was wondering where the best place to order one from would be,
Theres no way in hell im buying it from an australian based online store, $49-$65 AUD MY ASS!!!

So i was looking through iEdges authorised resellers and saw it on chinas gamekool for about $20 with free airmail.
Would this be a good place to get it?

I looked at edge's website of resellers and the cheapest price i saw it for was on consolesource for 30 bucks plus 5 bucks shipping. The only problem is they're always out of stock and their customer service is horrible.

Gamekool looks the best @ 28 bucks including a 2 gig card. I might order another from there for that deal.

That does sound like a pretty good deal, but I'm weary of stuff in the Asian areas. Bunch of fakes are sold and I don't want to risk it. But gamekool is on edge's list of resellers so I guess the site seems legit. I wonder how long it would take to get through customs from China. I forgot to mention that gamekool shipping is 8 bucks and it would probably take 10 working days to reach North America. Customs can be pretty annoying pricks when it comes to international packages.

For anybody interested, Fry's Electronics has a 16gb Polaroid class 2 micro sdhc card for 42.99 and a 15 dollar mail in rebate. It's a pretty good deal if you live near a fry's and don't have to pay for shipping. It might end soon so check it out. I don't know if it will work for the iedge yet as I have not received it and tried it out, but any micro sd card should work right?

It's not listed directly on their site as DCMA/ Paypal forced them to remove all the carts.

It's legit and will 100% work. I ordered an Acekard 2i after they got taken down by the same method, and received it no problems.

The iedge got added to DX's inventory on the 24th which is after the DS/DSi carts got removed, which can only mean they are quite happy for you to use the work around.

The link was posted on DX's forum https://www.dealextreme.com/forums/Forums.d...threadid.523912

I'm not sure what you have against Asian sellers, they are generally a whole lot cheaper, sure you have to wait an extra week or so, but yea... Some of these people have NEVER waited long for a package before, 2 weeks for shipping is hardly "forever". Get on eBay and you'll find sellers than take 3 months minimum...

I don't really hate asian sellers, I've just had a mixed bag with the ones I've dealt with. I ordered a Pandora battery from DX, it didn't work. I emailed DX and their customer service was great, they responded very quickly and sent me out another pandora battery. It worked once and then stopped working. Each battery took two weeks to get to me. So it took a month to get me a working one. I would do business with them again, but only if there wasn't a shipper closer to me.

Guys, just wait a few months, iEDGE will just go down in price like it did the first version. I bought my original EDGE for close to $30, then a month or two later, the price drops down to $12 on DealExtreme...

. This will also likely get a price drop in the future.

For anybody who cares, don't buy from ConsoleSource.com. I ordered their iedge from them when it was in stock, and they had to backorder it for me. It's been a week and half, I've tried contacting them multiple times by email and by phone and have yet to get a response. I want to just cancel the order and get a refund, but it's hard when they don't respond to anything. BEWARE of ConsoleSource!

Has anyone bought one from DX?

Does it come with the box?

I think the compact version does not come with the box -- but it seems as if the compact version is the only version

Who sells one with the box for under $18?

if you buy frequently in a good shop..you should notice the price will be very stable in at least 3 month..
iedge is not likely to have a harsh cut in near future..
