I just beat FFCC Ring of Fates
Hahaha... "Stopping the flow of time is EASY!"
and have beaten FFCC Echoes of Time a few times, so anyone know of any games simalar to it? As in a hack 'n slash RPG with a NON turn based battle system and no transition to a seperate screen for battles and a simalar camera system to EoT/RoF or KH but NOT like PS0 because you have NO cotroll of the camera whatsoever and can't see whats behind you without moving.

Any recommendations?

Soma Bringer (with the English patch) comes highly recommended.

Although its fighting system is unlike FF:CC. In Soma Bringer, you just press one button and your character attacks. There's no combos or anything (at least in the time I played). Think of a combat system of Crisis Core, essentially.

*heads over to ROM[censored!] to look at screenshots*

...the screenshots at ROM[censored!] seem to indicate that it has a "Birds-Eye" camera, which is what I like.

Oh, and add to the list of games that I'm looking for simalar ones to:
Dark Cloud (PS2)

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days- I recommend that rather highly.
Avalon Code- Unique and pretty fun, not for everyone, but i love the customization and such.
Blue Dragon Awakened Shadow- Out in Japan, will be out in the US sometime this year.

I didn't like the remake of the first two Ys games, but they have Legacy of Ys: Book I and II. You may get more out of it than me. I know a lot of people loved it.

I hated the flight battles, but Lunar Knights is pretty fun. Boktai sequel if you've heard of those GBA games. Has hack n slash action and gunslinging.

And keep an eye on the Lufia DS remake (Estpolis in Japan). It's a retooling of the original Lufia 2 on SNES. Sort of a reboot, now an action RPG.

By the way, you can control the camera in PS0. All you have to do is press L, or hold X and press L or R.

Soma bringer can get boring after a while because of his very very long dungeons . But the story ... is soo awesome

!

Some people out there must like Phantasy star zero , but not me
frown.gif
. Beating monsters and collecting weapons get boring .

K/H DS is awesome , the gameplay can also get bored , but the story is interesting and sad

.

Avalon code ; cool game i think .

Futher , ragarnok online is an action rpg (i think) and is coming next month

It should be noted that Legend of Kay was not an RPG on the PS2. Assuming the DS version is somewhat the same, it's more of an action platformer with hack n slash Zelda-like elements. Just a heads up. If it is like the PS2 version, it should be good. The PS2 version was really great! An underrated and forgotten gem if I ever saw one.
