Hey I'm going to Beijing for a month to visit some relatives and I was wondering if there were any places in which I could purchase some flash carts while I'm there.

Actually you can just try some of the games shop there, might have it. But no one can garantee you whether its a fake or not .

Man. . . if you were going to the Southern part of China Winsunx is located in Guangdong. However A family member has been to China on business on more than one occasion and he says you can pick up bootleg games and mod chips and so forth pretty much at any gaming shop. So I agree with the person above me and say just go into any gaming shop there. One word of caution however is to only buy either a Flash2Advance or an EZFlash Advance card. That way you wont have to worry about legitimacy or if its real or anything like that.

Hey hey, pick me up a few goodies while you're over there, lol. Damn these shipping costs. Well I rather pay the 20-30 bucks opposed to paying the $1,000 (probably more) to travel an shop...so again, pick me up a few goodies!

Taiwan has a lot of goodies stuff, I have been there before ^^
I still remembered how much i bought my F2A 256 cart for, Sing $238 , roughly about USD $ 139, which is actually cheaper for me then buying online.
China has a lot of bootleg stuff around - even original games they sell might be fake - be really careful. I had a friend who bought a F2A there and it couldn't even be flashed.

This is an old topic, but I'm in Beijing this week, and wanted to try and pick up a supercard micro-sd or something similar. Does the OP or anyone else have any recommendations?

beijing has CRAP as far as video games are concerned. you might find some lame bootleg gba carts, but thats about it.
you wanna be in hong kong for the good stuff, perhaps you might find some in guangdong (aka canton), which is basically on mainland china right next to hong kong. captial of canton/guangdong = guangzhou, that city is huge. much different than beijing.
