naruto is so popular ... imho there will be a guide sooner or later at gamefaqs (or somewhere else) to make you understand the basics ...
the only thing you will (of course) dont understand is the story then ...

Without Nintendo you would't evan be able to play any of your favorite gba games.
The game crappy.
The game can be playable seeing that most idiots just use the attck command,which in most rpg is the 1st command listed.
Battles sceen commands(for thoese who are to lazy to test them all out),in order from left to right.

Worse than the people telling "Omgwtflmao, this is so l33t, where can I dl it?" is the people looking for translation patches the day the game was released... for God's sake
I guess whoever's selling this game early over there isn't playing by the fair trade rules
Naruto's popular enough so the chances are bigger for patches later or a FAQ. It won't be me writing one, though.

we do usually start selling the really anticipated stuff a day or two earlier though.
but unfortunately, there isn't anyone based here or else we would have had a lot of JPN games a lot earlier.

never heard of this game before, but i must say after the huge amount of positive reviews, i am tempted. Additionally I love rpg's so its another factor that draws me to this game. Any one know any info about a US release or any translations in the works?

For all those muppets demanding an English version of the game you must remember... the show hasn't even been lisenced in the West yet! Until that happens no Naruto merchandise, especially the games, will be making their way over here.
Looking at it logically if this game was released in English it wouldn't be until 2005 at the very least (based on the fact that there's currently a bidding war going on between several companies hoping to pick up the show which may take time to settle, not to mention that the company will then have to have released some English dubbed episodes before even thinking about releasing the game which itself will then need time to translate and localise).
Anyway I havn't had a chance to play the game yet... I havn't watched many Naruto episodes but it looks like a really fun anime... it's definately a show I'd like to see more of. The screens look like they relate to the plot of the show which will help any fans muddle their way through it.
...I can't play it mind because I've hurt my right hand and arm pretty badly (grazed it and took off a load of skin) last week (hence why I havn't been posting a lot on here)... I'm probably gonna miss out on stuff like Metal Slug Advance as well which I'm extremely annoyed about, bah.

Why would you play an RPG when you can't understand the story?! The story in an RPG is the main thing that makes the game. If you dont know what you're doing why even bother?
