It's kinda Nintendo's response to those crappy Imagine games, although I've heard it's quite good. It looks like drop-dead shovelware (especially with the horrendous cover art), but some people have found a lot of depth in the managing of a store and stuff like that.

Since I don't have a vagina I probably won't try it though

it is apparently a very good game (for girls of course). If nintendo is running ads for it, and the current affairs show here in australia is saying that it is a great christmas present, then it must be good.

Im having an issue with this game. The game freezes when I get to Tiffany (the 5th customer). As soon as I go to tell her to try on the jacket the game goes black screen (on both screens). I'm playing this from my Acekard2i on my DSi. I thought others might want to know this. I guess I'll be waiting for some sort of patch. Aside from that, the game is pretty cool. Then again, this is coming from a guy who beat "Bratz: Rock Angles" for GameCube in 3 days lol.

I wonder if that's the first save point. I never got to a place where I could save the game. The save size on the cartridge is 8M(1024), but I never was able to save.

Well those shows are crap, so whatever they say are good, is actually crap.

Might be, because, just like you I also was not able to save. I'm really hyped about playing this game for some odd reason and or all the haters... "Just because a game is not within the genre that you may like, it does not make a game a bad one." I don't play football games but I would not dare say that Madden is bad. It could be a excellent game... its just not in my preferred genre. Gamers these days really do need to get out of the adolescent mindset and realize that there is something for everybody. Anywho, here's to hoping that Style Savvy gets fixed before Christmas Day

This game was a huge success in Japan. For that reason they are trying very hard to make that success translate to Europe and the US. I've been very curious to see how successful they are in doing so, but seeing as they didn't change much of the contents or style of the game, I don't think they will succeed.

Japanese women are very fashion-oriented. Almost every girl reads magazines to keep up with the latest fashion and make-up tips. This game featured actual clothing that is and has been popular there (lots of miniskirts for instance). It has the same kind of appeal as seeing your favorite soccer team appear in a soccer game. Naturally this doesn't translate.

The style of the game once again is very geared towards Japanese. Slender women with long legs and big eyes. Although this is somewhat similar to top-models, I don't think it speaks as much to the general Western crowd as it does to Japanese people.

Lastly, Japanese High School kids have to wear uniforms, so for them being able to take part in being fashionable is something they look forward to. This game allows them to do that. Just like a Western girl wanting a pony but of course she can't have one so she buys a game called Ponyz (and then cries herself to sleep for making such a horrible purchase, but hey, ubisoft doesn't care because they have your money

Even on the retail cartridge, you can't click the save button during at least the first few customers. I never got to a save point with it, either.

I figured my 7 year old daughter would really dig this one. But so far you can't actually design outfits, you just have to match what they're looking for. If you could just put together different outfits, she could probably play it allll day.

It was more like 3 huge play sessions over 3 days. Trust me at that time of my life I would not have spent 72 hours on a Bratz game especially since

1) I was a shift leader at a Game Crazy store (lots of gaming/work time there)

and 2) I owned 114 other legit GameCube games that needed to be played.

BTW Anyone know of any word on a patch yet?

QUICK EDIT: I just checked out the dump/copy/backup from Xenophobia and that one is also freezing at the 5th customer.
