Hello a2h.-

What about Nintendo DSi?

I have a R4i Gold and I created the YSMenu but after try to load any NDS game an error about a not valid DLDI format or something similar.

Any idea?

Best Regards
Crispe
YSmenu doesn't work on our carts I'm afraid. It's a shame so I bought a DS Iplayer before realising I couldnt play commercial roms on it >_

Sigh, another hiatus from this place = lots of things I missed out on.

I quickly skimmed page 11 and it seems what I should do is

1. Update the DSTT version
2. Continue trying to see what's causing the freezing progress issue

I`m having similar problems with the rest, I wonder what caused this? Been trying lots of methods but none prevail.
Been getting the same message "Unsupported DLDI Name"

It`s R4 and I backed up my files. In it, it has 2 folders "MOONSHL" and "_SYSTEM_" and some DS menu and mshl. Well I just backed everything up.

Reformatted, and put those files back, and replaced with the files I made using a2h system, it was definitely easy (thank you) but the problem (unsupported bla2) still remains.

I wonder what I should do with this? Google doesn`t help =(

Thanks in advance.

Ive tried both versions of your ysmenu generator with the files in the same folder etc and I can't get it to complete the process. It only gets about 75% of the way. I'm using an old computer so will try it on my new one tomorrow.

Edit: I just disable the cheat option and it managed to get all the way through.

Same here.

is there any workaround/solution for this problem?

The freezing is a simple fix. Delete the all the files that the installer extracts (so not YSMenu and infolib downloads), re-extract the files and this time DO NOT ENABLE CHEATS. It causes the program to freeze. Just get the cheat file manually from cheats.gbatemp.net, USRCHEAT.DAT and place it in the TTMenu folder. That will fix the program not working.

I have another question though: YSmenu does not support soft reset? Or this program does not build the soft-reset properly?

I think Soft Reset is turned on by checking the "reset" checkbox when you pick a game. Never tried it though. Not gonna risk it (in case it's a delete the save file button).

I think it only works for DSTT cards.
So then my R4 (real) won't work with it? I tried right now and it goes to the screen with a MicroSD with music image on the top screen but it doesn't move from there.

Exactly, the softreset function of YSMenu doesn't work for R4 users, nonetheless, it is still the No.1 firmware for the R4.
If you try to use YSMenu softreset on the R4, you get a picture of a whistling microSD card with the the text "Loading" on the screen.

Ah okay. And yea YSMenu is the best firmware for it since the official one is no longer supported + had some big bugs in it. Thanks a lot for clearing that up.

Is there any way of disabling the ‘X’ button (besides opening the DS and cutting the wire) so it can’t be used to delete files from the main menu when using Ysmenu?
No matter how many times you tell them not to use the X button to load games they just don’t get it!!!!
