Fire Emblem...

lol, jk.

I would have to go with the Final Fantasies or Breath of Fire 1 & 2 (altough you'll need an emulator, it's well worth it).

FF III and IV keep their battle systems in the DS remake, but aren't nearly as good as their GBA counterparts.

Nostalgia was pretty good. Storyline was average and it wasn't very innovative, but it did a great job of using old concepts.

most people (although not the ones who have posted so far) think that ,out of the official releases, Chrono Trigger is the best remade RPG for DS. I haven't played it though so i can't give you my opinion.

What's wrong with Fire Emblem?

It's my 2nd favorite game...

Final Fantasies, Fire Emblem: SD, Tao's Adventure: Curse of the Demon Seal.

FF2(US) on the Snes. FF3 & Chrono Trigger get a tight 2nd place tie though. (i use the US numbers there because, when i played em, that's how they were known

FFIV just holds such a special place in my heart. First RPG i got hardcore sucked into, when it came out. Birthday present from my Grandma. She rocked (and still does heh).

in my opinion the best ones is FF III because of the old job system, nostalgia for the dungeons, FF IV for the history
