I like this much better than the GameCube version, who knows why. Guess I'm just not that much of a "golf" fan, so the Nintendo approach works for me.

I pre-ordered the actual cartridge from EB-Games last week. It should be in by Friday. Oh Happy day!! The emulated version should keep me busy till the Original gets to me. I ordered that and the Legend of Zelda.

To be honest I think the controls are a little TOO sensitive. I mean I was trying to get the power bar to rest at 15y, but it kept skipping it to 17/13 because the little tap I gave the R button was apparently held for too long.

not sure fi ti was posted yet, but i played this yesterday and when i connected it to my gc i got star luigi bowser waluigi and wario, because ont he gc version i have all birde badges and everything and i had charchter experienc sent back to my gba from my gc and i got those characters, so i thought id mention this due to the fact i havent seen it on gamefaqs or anything. so if you want the star verison of those chaarchters get all the birdie badges and connect the gba to your gc, and for star luigi do something to gain your gba charahcter experience on the gc and youll get start luigi
Sounds like this is a good game. I guess I will flash it to my cart and see what all the fuss is about.

I think those require the gc connection,,, unless u edit ur save file a little... anyways ive got everything unlocked cept for those 4 chars so it has to be the gc
i played the jap version for about 11 hours to get there hehe, and the gbc mario golf experience,
so i'm still an average player, still no hole in one %#@^%
when anybody finds out how to edit the sav file or if patches are out , let us know!

Yes, I know that. That's why I didn't know what to believe: the info under the screenshots isn't the same as the info in GBArms...
Anyway, I tried it myself and the correct info is the one here in GBATemp (so the one is GBArms is wrong

the vram is one advantage when it comes to AI but ends up being slower even with that and really AI is the only use case that needs more than 12gb vram right now

I think I watched a video where two games at 4K where eating just over 16GB of RAM and it's the one case where the 7900XT and XTX pulled ahead (minus RTX of course)

So my opinion is that they could age a bit better in the future, and maybe AMD will continue improving them via drivers like they tend to do. No guarantee there but they have done it in the past. Just a feeling I have.

AMD could introduce something comparable to DLSS but nvidia's got a lot more experience with that

least amd 7xxx has tensor cores which the previous generations didn't so there is the potential for AI upscaling
