I downloaded it from the link you provided earlier and as soon as I ran r4.bat a .nds file was created instantly only after asking 2 questions, which were language related. That's it. And yes, I've tried deleting settings.ini and running r4config once again and editing the options, but it stills keeps creating a YSMenu.nds file.
How odd. It certainly doesn't do that on my computer.

QUOTE(.Darky @ Dec 12 2009, 09:09 PM) Also, does the new Zelda REALLY needs a 1mb save file? I'm almost close to finish the game and haven't encountered any problems so far
I too have not encountered any problems with a 512Kb save file (I'm at the boss in the Fire Temple) but the release info says the save type is 8Mb (1MB) and many people have had corrupted save data in the latter stages of the game. I figured it was better to be safe than sorry.

EDIT: Changed the capitalization of the megabyte vs megabit. Happy now?

Is it possible to use the 1.17a12 to generate a version of YSMenu that will work on an R4i-SDHC card (update for the DS 1.4 firmware) ?

I think we should lay down the capitalization of megabyte vs megabit

MB = megabyte
Mb = megabit
mb = ???????

Technically....
B = Byte
b = bit
8 bits = 1 Byte

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SI_prefix#List_of_SI_prefixes
M = Mega (1,000,000)
m = mili (0.001)

However, two general rules apply:
1). No one will ever use "m" as in miliByte or milibit.
2). More often than not, people mean "b" to be 'byte'.

In French we have no problem with that

1Mb = 1 Méga bit
1Mo = 1 Méga octet

So 1Mo = 8Mb

Simple and more easier

I've never heard of or seen MicroSD sold in 'Gigabit' sizes.
I do know that GBA carts were sold in 'Megabit' size. But I think that's due to their smaller capacity.

Also unrelated but somewhat relevant, harddrives are sold at odd sizes.
Example, a 500GB harddrive isn't 500GB. It's 500,000,000,000Bytes or 465.661GB

GigaBYTE. Which is normal.

If it was 2Gigabit, then it would be a 256MegaBYTE card like this:

Well.. "8G" =/= "8GB".
I have never seen a card measured in "G" or "Gb"

big B = BYTE
small b = bit

That password was annoying. I got the hint quite quickly. Unfortunately I decided to spell it with 'spaces' and it took me awhile to realise all lower case, no spaces.
Oh well, thanks for the great firmware.
