@megamaan : If you haven't updated conf. usb loader recently, you should update it. No intro is a feature added recently, so check changes for conf. usb loader and update accordingly... that's why you get the black screen probably...

My conf. usb loader is the latest, v49-fat

when ur making ur channels, u also have to choose a fat partition, for most people it will be FAT1, is that what u chose? Either way, confirm what you chose and what partition # ur FAT32 drive is

Are you talking to me? If so, i use FAT1. Only one fat32 partition with my usb-stick. With Intro, everything is ok, but "no intro" is not working.

BTW, I have intro=0 line in the config.txt, I will remove it and test...

I think I am having the same issue as megamaan.

I use Configurable USB Loader and set everything to FAT1.

Ever since I updated to 2.5, my channels weren't loading. So as a test I switched from noIntro, back to the option with an intro just so I could see what is going on. Even though I am selecting FAT1, it said WBFS1 partition not found.

2.4 works and has the splash screen (which I don't mind), but it has the downside of giving me an error when I try to create a channel out of a wbfs file.

Sorry dudez, I've finally managed to upload the file, could you try again?

I've been trying to fix my upstream problem for about an hour. Somehow Cfosspeed program sticked onto my computer. Even if I uninstall the thing it doesn't leave and cripple my upstream traffic in a weird way, I can't login to any site, can't post, can't upload files...

Finally reinstalled Cfosspeed Crap again and my computer became normal again..

Thx... fyi, I haven't had any problems with the fat32 nointro CFG channels I made before this hotfix. I didn't type anything like "no intro" anywhere either, it just worked.

Well the strange thing about the reported problem is with intro it's said to be working and without intro it's not working... I also spotted something wrong in the dol (conf. string not long enough) so I rebuilt it.

Still just getting a black screen with the NoIntro. When I make a channel with the intro it says WBFS1 not found. Which is accurate since I am using FAT1. But the problem is, I am selecting FAT1 when I make the channels, yet it is registering as WBFS1 for some reason...

Edit:

On another Wii and I figured out what the X factor is. Any channel I made from a wbfs file defaults to WBFS1 even if I pick FAT1.

Hi WiiCrazy

!

Is there a way to add forwarding features to current CrapTriiforce loader?... I mean:

1. Install a forwarder VC or WiiWare channel.
2. The installed forwarder channel looks for craptriiforce's boot.dol file in a specific folder (sd:\folder\boot.dol).
3. The boot.dol file in that folder gets the GAMEID from the installed forwarder channel.
4. VC/WiiWare Game starts.

That would be great for a quick craptriiforce's boot.dol file updating (useful when a new version arrives) and, the most important, you will not need to make a new forwarder channel (because of Triiforce's updates) again

!

See ya!
@wichoxp : Yep that's possible, WiiPower already added a bunch arguments to set different options. I may add in a future version..
Thanks
smile.gif
! ... that will be a nice improvement for the current loading method!

(I can work in the "cosmetic" part again, if you're busy).

See ya!

Strange, other people claim that it works... Today I'll make a test by partitioning my 2gb flash disc into 512mb parts. 1 wbfs, 3 fat partitions and I'll copy each of them a small game then create channels for them...

I am so sorry. I just tested something else and realized I have been reporting the issue wrong. This happens when I make a channel out of a bnr (when I batch create). This whole time I was using all of the banners that are saved in the folder to remake the channels. I just tested it in 2.4 and the same thing happens. So it looks like when I batch create a channel by using the banners, even if I pick FAT1 it changes it to WBFS1.

Oops, well it's a known issue... It seems it's time to update the batch create function. Work has just started...

ps: The reason I didn't update batch mode while adding new loaders is it clashes with alt-dol support... Anyway, I'll update it...

Sorry about the bad info before. Thanks again and great work! Crap is by far, the easiest and best wad creator I have used.

New version is out,

Download here : http://www.tepetaklak.com/wii

Code:
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Crap v2.6b =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
11/12/2009 WiiCrazy (I.R.on)
-----------------------------------------------------------------
* Batch mode not working with new loaders issue fixed and some nice
progress bar & status text added.

* Added Conf. Usb Loader as a loader courtesy of oggzee. Remember
this one is not a forwarder and it's the actual boot.dol distributed with
the official Conf. Usb Loader releases. To update it just replace
ConfUsbLoader.dol under the Loaders folder with the updated dol from
Conf. Usb Loader distribution. It doesn't support partition selection yet
but hopefully will be in future releases.

And btw, this is the last release I am making in gbatemp, you can watch new releases of Crap
from my page dedicated to my wii related creations, google code page or in my local forum, all in the sig.
