I suppose someone who knows how things work could take the patch and compare unpatched/patched ROMs and then make a code that does the same thing...TyRaNtM said:

The only difference is a patch is automated... and XPA added their logo.
But yeah... I personally prefer AR codes to patched ROMs myself.
Can anyone else confirm if AKAIO 1.5 firmware gives legit drops? I can't really tell. I have it using Bahamut unpatched as well. I definitely get more than 5 weapons a stage, but I found maybe 5 or so rares in the entire story-mode playthrough. I found plenty of spells though, that definitely wasn't a problem. The reason I'm suspicious is because I can never matchmake. Is it because I'm only on normal mode(haven't beaten story, about to)?
