Will NBA_2K10_PAL_Wii-WiiERD have the same problem? It is said to have english language too. I guess if both scene releases have problems, there is no denying that there is something here. I'll try getting this version...
dunno if it will have the same problem. if you are getting it would be nice to hear what you find. :-) i guess one possibility is the original upload was bad and hopefully this one is good and we're all happy. if this is bad too like you said there must be something where someone with more knowledge than me will have to figure out. i noticed there is another new release too that seems not to be the one you mentioned. maybe a few new releases are popping up in order to fix this issue???

Good to know that there is no protection. Now i'm doubting Qwiif's other releases too :-) I hope they release a Proper or a fix for the NTSC version. Other than that let's enjoy this great game (a proof that it does not need to have great graphics, just the same superb gameplay ported over from the HD versions). This blows NBA Live out of the water!
Would the PAL version work ok on a SDTV? I know I've tried a few PAL version games, but I either get a green or black screen. When I read about that, it would be not having the correct IOS. But it could also be the video resolution that my TV doesn't support. I believe if it's 480p and not 480i, my TV won't display the game.
just wanted to point out that i reburned my resident evil at 4x instead of 2x and it plays for me now. interesting but maybe it's possible to burn too slow? and i only have one or two pal releases but they both play fine for me. if i don't force 480p it will give me a warning about 576i (i suppose a european standard) but it will still play fine either way. but my tv is not standard def. anyways i'm still a newbie so much too learn. now off to redownload the good nba 2k10 when i get back in town! :-) thanks everyone...
I downloaded NBA_2K10_PAL_Wii-WiiERD and have been playing it from USB. Has anyone else had it crash when it tries to connect to 2K's servers? It does it consistently on my Wii. I turned off auto sign in on the game but there doesn't seem to be an option to tell it to not connect to the internet at all. It tries to do it after every My Player game.
I've worked around it by selecting a dummy internet connection on my Wii System menu but I still have to wait for a minute or two after every game while it tries to connect to the internet and fails. It's odd, since the previous corrupt version could connect and download latest game results and rosters with no problems.

I have the freezing problem too
i tried this morning before i go to class, it was fine with living rosters and auto sigh-in
but now it doesn't work
i delete the save data, it is still the same
perhaps they change something this morning
